Illuminator Tide Graph Moon Phase 10-Year Battery Digital Watch

Casio is known for their great watches at cost-effective prices and they did not disappoint with this watch. It will show you the current moon phase and the current tide in your area (after you set it up). The watch comes in resin with faux "screws" on the front bezel, including a protruding top and bottom, much like their G-Shock line. While the watch isn't at the G-Shock level, it's certainly a durable resin watch that sits comfortably on your wrist. Because it's resin, it's light weight even though it has a relatively large case. The digits are decently sized and legible. The illumination on the watch at night is sufficient to read the time at the bottom of the display, which is where the two LED lights are placed (left and right bottom). In addition to the tide and moon phase, this watch also includes a stopwatch, countdown timer, alarm, hourly signal, and dual-time (world time). It also has an analog-like circular clock on the top right for effect. This watch is also the same size as the Casio AE1200 (known by many as the "Casio Royale") so you can swap out the module inside the case between the two watches. Instead of doing this, I purchased an after-market case and bracelet and installed the module in it. Now I have a stainless steel case and bracelet with a sapphire crystal. I look forward to having this watch for many years to come. If you are looking to add another watch to your collection or you're looking for your first watch and you don't care as much about world-time but want a similar design to the Casio AE1200 and think knowing the moon phases and tides would just be icing on the top, this is the one. I would highly recommend this watch. What are you waiting for?? :-)

What a cool watch! It shows the moon phase as well as the current tide. I think it's important to know what the tide is doing even if you don't live near the coast. I've been doing studies recently on correlating how a person feels throughout the day based on the tide and trying to draw conclusions. Will update this post once we have conclusive data.

This watch exceeded my expectations. I like the size, the color and the features. Its not too bulky and the price was great. I also like the brightness for the light on it. Such a great purchase!

Another fantastic value from Casio. My husband was thrilled with this stocking stuffer at Christmas. He loves knowing the tides for no reason. The manual that comes with the watch is a bit intimidating but that’s because there are so many features. We were able to get it all programmed and it was impressive how much this watch will do. Despite its size, it doesn’t feel bulky or heavy on the wrist. We think it looks pretty cool and comparable to a G-Shock or even much more expensive rugged watches. We could spend a whole lot more on accessories but always love the durability, functionality, and unpretentiousness of Casio.

This is a great Casio digital watch. It has everything you could want on a digital watch. Also has a 10-Year Battery Life! You cant't beat these watches for accurate timekeeping.

Great watch. I really like it. I wish they would stop with the fake screws on the face. I wish the plastic bezel was more flat. It adds 2mm of unnecessary thickness. And 3 mm more if you flatten the face/display. I wish there was a more flat classic Casio style moon/tide watch with water resistance. I tried changing the straps. Maybe I did it wrong but when taking the bars out it will damage the hole it sits in. Making it difficult to put one back in. I am a novice at changing straps so it may be just me. The original straps don't sit flat. I don't know why they make watches like this.

Such a fun watch. I live on the shore and walk the beach daily and having the tide and moon phase is so much fun. The face is intricate - I underestimated how much I’d like the intricacies. Analogue in top right is so cool, so unique. The tide and moon is easy to set, and so far it’s accurate for PNW. Not a shock but shock resistant for sure, it is similar or the same resin and honestly one of my immediate favorites. My rotation is 2 casioaks for work and formal then this and a mid man for weekends

If James Bond had to tighten his budget and shop smart, this is 100% the watch he’d pick—right after clipping a coupon and hitting “Add to Cart.” Sleek, simple, and just complicated enough to make me feel like I might be able to disarm a nuclear device (or at least time my instant noodles with absolute precision). The tidal feature? I live nowhere near the ocean, but now I know when the tides are changing—so I can act mysterious and whisper things like, “The tide’s coming in,” even if I’m just in the breakroom. It’s inexpensive, but not in a “why does this smell like lead paint?” way—more like “wow, this was made by people who know value and secretly want me to feel cool.” I now check the time unnecessarily just to flex. Do I know how to use all the features? Absolutely not. Do I pretend like I do? Every. Single. Day. 10/10 would recommend if you want to feel like a secret agent who also knows when high tide is.

Es un reloj excelente por sus funciones y costo aceptable, cuenta con la fase lunar qué se programa al igual que las mareas con los códigos qué vienen en el manual, depende de la ciudad y la latitud de la misma para tener una lectura correcta de las mareas y la fase lunar. El reloj es de resina al igual que su correa, los terminados son de muy buena calidad como la mayoría de los casio, si quieres un reloj con prestaciones especiales y a un costo razonable, este reloj es para ti.
