Fantastic screen
I usually don’t write reviews but I have to say this item is awesome. Installed on a 2013 BMW X5 35D in about 30 minutes: super easy. Just make sure you hookup the fiber optic connection from the old plug to the new one. Probably need to change the video settings to the correct resolution as well. Both of those are super easy. The unit itself is clear, bright, and works way better than the original screen. As good as any modern OEM screen; maybe better.

It's good, but need more instructions
I really like the item. But I had to take a long time watching videos in YouTube to get ready before install. Once I opened the box, instructions are so short or missing, video QR is not the same like my car and too short. Deep instructions needed. I had to conect AUX cable, because didn't work the sound and figured out a lot of time to get it. Once I became professional to install, everything worked good, I like resolution and size. Looks super good and original

Great Upgrade
I purchased and installed this unit in my 2013 BMW X5 i50. It is a great upgrade over the stock screen. The install was not all that difficult. I took my time and start to finish was about an hour and a half. Woks great with the original CIC system. And android auto works well also. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking to upgrade. I suggest reading the directions thoroughly for your application. QR codes to videos on how to are included.....

Easy install. Looks and works great on my 2013 BMW x5
I was a bit skeptical about this unit, but I am glad I got it. Works very nice, took my Bimmer to the new era of technology. Install was not hard at all will all of the videos out there to assist. Took me about an hour, but that was because I was extra careful. Took a while to arrive, assuming it came from China.

Total Junk
2011 bmw x5 with cic system. DOES NOT support factory backup camera. everything is in chinese and after taking apart the whole front console, to my suprise the system doesnt even work. It looks nice, wont lie about that but it doesnt work with any features. Best part of it is the nice looking screen. But no radio controls, no factory camera, and no factory vehicle settings (so you cant check the oil level anymore)

It works, sort of... With some limitations
I got this for my 2013 BMW X5 E70 to replace its stock CIC iDrive's display. I eventually did manage this to work, but you should be aware of the issues/limitations that exist for this product: 1) The instructions are awful - paper manual does not show how to remove stock iDrive display from E70. It does include QR Code that is supposed to link you to YouTube video, but the linked video shows the wrong model of the car, not an E70. I eventually managed to find someone else's videos of removal of stock display from E70, as well as installation of such new display. I guess RoadTop just doesn't really care about selling these, judging by such behavior... 2) The built-in microphone in this display is absolutely unusable, regardless of the settings I've tried, and regardless of the position of "ground wire connector". Your only other option is to use stock microphone in your car, BUT to do that you have to forget about using AUX and instead switch on Bluetooth Music input in your stock iDrive (if it is actually capable of that feature) as well as enable the option in this RoadTop system to use Bluetooth output. Then everything works, especially your car's stock microphone. Except Google Map's voice directions stop working for some reason. But there's a workaround for that - you just go to Google Map's "Settings" on your phone, find the option called "Play Voice over Bluetooth" and toggle it off. Really not sure why they didn't just include a splitter with extra cable for car's stock microphone so it could be hardwired to this system in order for everything to work perfectly... 3) The display itself on this RoadTop unit - it does not have antiglare matte cover like you can see on original CIC display, meaning you will see plenty of reflections on its glossy surface during every sunny day. You can sort of compensate for that by raising the display brightness, but personally I'd really prefer a matte antiglare display coating since I can't legally tint my windshield.

Se instala fácil. Buena resolución Detalle se llega a desconectar el CarPlay de repente muy esporádico
