I recently installed the car stereo in my GMC Acadia and overall I am very impressed with its performance and features.The Streo user interface is sleek and user-friendly, making it a breeze to navigate through the various functions. The standout feature is the seamless connection to Apple CarPlay. Syncing my iPhone was easy and the integration works flawlessly, providing easy access to apps, music and navigation. Installation was a little tricky and could have been smoother with more detailed instructions. However, this challenge was mitigated by the seller's customer service. The seller responded quickly with solutions and instructions and ensured that the installation process went without too much difficulty. Despite the initial installation issues, the Stereo Android 12 car radio has proven to be a valuable upgrade for my Acadia (2012). The great functionality, especially with Apple CarPlay, and the exceptional customer support from the seller make this a worthwhile purchase. I recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their vehicle's stereo system, with the caveat that you may need some patience and possibly help with installation.

Extremely easy to install, everything works INCLUDING the rear speakers. They didn’t work at first, but after reading and mentally understanding the horrible instructions, I got them to work. (Just had to use the second 12 pin connector). My ONLY complaint is the video quality is horrible. Makes my back up camera look like it was used for the first moon landing. YouTube videos are dark and color is bad. That said, great product for the price and extremely easy to install.

This literally only took a half hour or less to install in my 2008 GMC Yukon XL. The most time was spent figuring which combination of audio cables and harness plugs would make all of my speakers and amp work, including the back speakers, which was still as easy as plugging and unplugging until I found the right combo. No splicing or crimping or anything like that. The unit itself has very nice features and great sound quality. Built in GPS map is fine as is with no need to connect to internet maps. This also connected to my iPhone with zero issues via Bluetooth and CarPlay. All in all a great upgrade at a very reasonable price.

I’ve been driving my ‘13 Silverado for 10 years now and wanted something to curb me from buying a new truck. This is it. A trim tool and a socket and the old radio is out in 4 mins. Plug things in where they go and reinstall. Very very easy. Soooo much improvement! Recommended over and over again

I'm not one to write reviews, but hopefully this saves somebody some time and aggravation. I really wanted to like this radio. It's cheap (first red flag), looks factory, is completely plug and play and has wireless carplay. Instructions are not the best, but not all that difficult to figure out. I was able to get it connected and working on the first try without any issue. The radio boots up quickly, the touchscreen is responsive, and i didn't experience any freezing or lagging. carplay connected quickly and automatically. That's where the positives end. The screen image/resolution is pretty bad. I suppose it should be expected at this price point, and if that was the only downfall, i wouldn't even complain about it. The sound quality is horrible. I spent way too much time adjusting the equalizer to get sound that was halfway decent, but even at its best, it was still bad. A serious downgrade over the stock head unit. Carplay audio pauses every time the vehicle is put in reverse. Its not a setting issue (i adjusted those). It only happens with carplay, not with the radio or aux audio. my assumption is it has something to do with the fact that "carplay" is a 3rd party app on the radio, and not a radio function. i tried contacting the company, but never got a response. the gps antenna seemed to throw off maps in carplay. kept re-centering, like it was disoriented. don't have this issue in my other car with carplay, so my guess is its the antenna on this radio. The radio has the ability to impose grid lines on the backup camera image. My camera has its own gridlines, so i turned this feature off. The lines would still randomly show up occasionally when i put the car in reverse, showing 2 sets on grid lines on the screen. The radio volume would randomly increase to max. no idea why. happened 3 times before i finally had enough and decided it was time to return. for the record, i had upgraded the firmware and updated the radio after i installed it, so that was not an issue. I would gladly pay more for this radio if these issues were resolved, but these problems are not tolerable IMO, even at this price point.

Everything works great, but volume control is not great. Very loud.

It’s actually a nice unit for the price and had a lot of different functions but the rear speakers will not work with this unit no matter how you wire it up. I’ll be returning this and finding a different brand.

Definitely a great upgrade for the price for my GMC truck. So far I’ve no problems. Apple CarPlay works well. Enough attachment points in the back I was able to plug in my amp and it all works good.

Excellent product for the price. So many options that I haven’t had time to use them all. Even worked with another manufacturer back up camera. Fits factory dash like a glove. Would definitely buy from this manufacturer again.

I've been considering upgrading my Silverado stock radio. Tired of the sloppy hands free calling and lack of features but didn't want to spend a lot. This replacement car audio did fit these needs. The Good: Navigation is great, hands free works fine, MP3 player is good, touch screen works fine, and the installation was easy. The Bad: the FM reception seems to fade in/out even with strong stations. Overall this was a good purchase and I'm happy with the performance of the unit. Installation was easy, didn't need to cut any wires or anything and all the speakers worked.

- I love the product but I also love the super detailed instructions with photo provided under the product listing on Amazon. The seller has done the very best in terms of ensuring buyers have all the information and instructions on how best to connect this to their car and get the audio system in the car working.- The 7-inch screen is perfect size. It is big enough to make sure you can see all the features and use the screen effectively. And it is small enough to not stand out too much and blends in nicely with the rest of the dash of the car.- It does take some time to get everything connected and installed. But, the instructions provided are good and with pictures, so installing and rewiring everything is not too difficult. I am not a pro at this, so I did call over a friend who is good at these things just in case I mess up. We worked together and got everything ready and set up in under an hour. Not bad.- The user interface is pretty easy to follow. Several useful apps, like wifi and bluetooth and maps. Everything works fine, as you expect. No complaints with the built-in app and their overall performance- Touch screen works fine. There is a lag sometimes, but I don't think it is due to the touch screen quality but due to the 2GB of RAM, which is not very efficient when you are toggling between apps and causes a lag sometimes.- Reasonable price ($190 as I write this review). Considering how much it improves the performance and use and compatibility of modern electronics to the car's systems, this is a fairly decent price.
