Not for Dyson V8
This part does not work for a Dyson V8. Had issues with it fitting and then it ended up breaking off.

Works Great!
My Dyson had an issue with the locking piece on the side and would drop everything. I purchased this intending on replacing it for the meanwhile until I could purchase a new vacuum but this works like the real thing! Super easy to use, Fits like the old piece and was good on price.

Good fit
The suction on my Dyson V8 vacuum was declining. Even after replacing filter s and a thorough cleaning, something wasn't quite right. After research suggested a new dust bin might be my problem I turned to Amazon. This after market replacement dust bin from RUKHOOL was the solution. It fit perfectly and indeed improved the suction. One issue were the intructions, they were not clear and need improvement. Take note when removing the old dust bin and it will definitely help when installing your new parts.

Definitely worth it!
Amazing. Who knew I could basically rebuild my entire Dyson for a fraction of the cost of a new one. This works perfectly and it's a great value! It fit exactly as it say it would and works incredible.

Fits and works
This replacement unit fit my vacuum perfectly - not too tight, easy to install (once I figured out how to get the old one out), and it has a good seal to keep the vacuum working just fine.

This didn’t work with my Dyson v7 . I can install it but once it’s in place it jams up and you can’t empty dust bin easily, or at all. I felt like I was going to break my vacuum by trying to yank the dust bin down to open it. It came in an order with multiple items so I can’t even return it because I don’t know what the original packaging looks like as I buy a lot of stuff online and have never made a return before :(

Fits well on my Dyson v7. I am able to pull the tab to empty it. It's not a perfect fit like a genuine parts but it's functional. No complaints I would recommend this a replacement if your original is damaged.
