Not sure what the little plastic discs are that accompany it? No "instructions" given. They are sized for the respective caps, and if you push it inside the cap (on top of the native cork disc already residing in there) the cap then won't screw on properly. It's possibly a replacement for the cork should it go bad, but who knows?

I bought these last year, examined them upon receiving and put them away as a gift. I forgot about them until this week, gave one to my daughter and kept one for me. When she tried to fill it she found a hole in it. It was probably broken when made since there was no glass fragments in the box. I was quite disappointed.

It is a nice product. Don't have to worry about the taste being affected. Great for travel or bringing along to a party. Silicone cover should protect from most normal impacts. Not willing to drop test to see just how survivable it really is. It is nicely packaged and doesn't appear to leak. Includes funnels. I am pleased with the product and would purchase again.

Probably returning these. They are the same as the more expensive brand (so there is that) but they do smell bad (both the neoprene and the glass....not sure why the glass smells bad....some weird chemical cleaner?). But the worst part is the opening of the flask is so small I'm not sure how you would ever clean this. Even if you just ran really hot water in it, it would take forever to dry insdoe.
