Descent™ Mk3i, Dive Computer and Multisport GPS Smartwatch, Air Integration, Black

I recently took the Mk3i with me to the Philippines for diving, and it exceeded my expectations. The battery life is outstanding, and it performed flawlessly during my SCUBA dives. I paired it with the wireless air pod for my tank, which allowed me to monitor my air supply or track a less experienced diver—an excellent safety feature, even though the pods are a bit pricey. I opted for the larger model with a built-in flashlight, which I initially thought I wouldn’t use but now rely on all the time. The red light mode is especially useful for staying visible when walking on dark streets at night. With so many features packed into this watch, it’s a top-tier dive computer and more. The only small downside is that the buttons can be too easily pressed, but it's not a deal-breaker. If you can invest in it, I highly recommend it for its versatility, durability, and safety-enhancing features.

I’ve had a Mk1 which has served me well. This watch has a bigger, brighter screen, and so many more features. Wear it scuba, golf (excellent) and road biking. Best is the morning health report!

Great dive computer. Pros.: GPS; Haptic; Integrated air; Transmitter with no valve; Messages with other divers; Share info with other divers (essential for my, I dive with my family). Cons.: The "sonar" used to communicate does an annoying sound. I prefer my Sheerwater Teric screen customization, maybe I just didn't find the right screen mode. The GPS doesn't automatically input the dive location.

great battery life, great functionality, my new everyday watch

I've worn a Garmin watch for more than a decade, starting with the forerunner 920xt, fenix 5, 6, epix 2. the consolidation of all my health stats and activities in one place and the amount of detail is unmatched by any other tracker I chose the descent because I'm getting into diving. at first I thought the fenix 8 was right for me but the air integration is a must. helps you track your air consumption in much more detail (see the reviews for the descent t2 transmitter) the fenix 8 is also limited to recreational depths, and if you remotely think you might want to get into tec diving or deeper depths, you need the descent as someone who also tracks all runs, bike rides, hikes, workouts etc, the descent is the closest thing to the perfect daily companion the only minor downside is that the screen is not quite as large as dedicated high end dive computers like the shearwaters, but all the functionality is there

For my very first smartwatch I am 100% confident I chose correctly. This thing has soo much built into it, it's gonna take me a good week to learn it. Taking it diving Sunday. The brightness and color screen alone will outshine my vyper novo. Also picked up the T2 sonar transceiver, I feel excited like a kid with a new toy! Will update after I get it wet. Update: this is the best dive computer I have ever used, clear and easy to read under water, vibration for alerts is awesome, alerted me at 1500psi which my other computer did not, clear color notification when safety stop is cleared, alerts when depending or ascending too fast! Man have I been missing out. If you don't own this, you should!!! Also super easy to use, I thought it was gonna be a learning process, but I was wrong, extremely user friendly.

Watch is gigantic -- to big for my wrist. Returned to amazon, received a partial refund due to "damage" -- Amazon wasn't able to help out. The item was 100% not returned damaged.

A dive watch you can wear to work and to the gym. For the price point of a dive watch, it's nice to be able to use it for more than just diving. This watch offers so much data, customizable algorithm and so far, a totally reliable connection (Even though I still dive with a backup SPG and backup computer). I haven't had a chance to use the diver to diver messaging yet, but I'm excited for the first time I go diving with someone else who has this watch. The flashlight is surprisingly useful.

Replaced my Suunto D5 with this unit. Probably overkill for what I need and now after diving it for a year, I can see a Fenix 8 would have been just fine. I'm a commertial diver and use the t2 transmitter, but i should have got a real dive computer such as the x50i instead and bought the Fenix 8 for recreational scuba and freediving. The screen is too hard to read on the Mk3 at depth and the transmitter fails to connect at least once every dive for a few seconds up to a few mins. Its a good watch, dont get me wrong, but I could have made a smarter purchase with a little more research.

Buena computadora de buceo, la utilizo como compu de respaldo y me arroja los mismos tiempos de fondo que mi Teric. Le compré un protector de plástico y eso la ha protegido muchísimo de golpes en el bisel. La carátula y datos durante el buceo son muy visibles, es fácil cambiar de gas o que muestre otros datos apretando un botón. Gracias a las apps de Garmin también puedes cambiar la carátula del modo reloj y personalizar casi cada valor. Es un juguete caro, espero que el uso diario no afecte al sensor de profundidad. Después de un mes de uso y 5 buceos, lo recomiendo

Simplemente la mejor computadora de buceo, más todas las actividades deportivas y de reloj inteligentes que Garmin ofrece. Calidad
