Awesome gift!
Was looking for a creative and thoughtful gift for a friend that loves majoras mask, she loved it! Very similar to lego.

Nice
Seems to be a decent alternative to the more expensive name brand building bricks. This is not an officially licensed product, but it does look really nice. It was easy to assemble and holds together well. The plastic does feel to be a cheaper style of plastic than the name brand, but it is still very nice. Pretty good value getting these for the lower price.

Instructions illegible and model falls apart at a touch.
This was one of several Christmas gifts for my children. My family enjoys brick construction sets and have done many in the past. We’re also fans of the Zelda games. My 8yo son ended up assembling it, though he asked for my assistance with several parts. We did successfully put it together, but it was a frustrating build and required modification. The first challenge is the ink used for the instructions. Black pieces have white outlines, but dark blue pieces have black outlines and look nearly black themselves on the instructions. I had to hold the instructions up to the light at a particular angle and squint to get some idea of where various pieces went. It was very frustrating, and we had to redo several sections after realizing we had missed some detail or another. The next challenge came with assembling the different sections together. Several of the pieces meant to attach limbs, equipment, etc. simply do not snap together with enough strength to avoid falling back apart with even light pressure applied to them… such as the pressure required to hold the body in place while attaching another piece. We had the build collapse on us at least 5 times before we were finally able to get it to stay mostly in place. The final frustrating challenge came with keeping Link upright. The entire construction is meant to be held by a single pip under one foot. It did not hold. After the structure collapsed several more times with trying to rely on it, my son and I agreed the other foot needed a pip as well, and we changed out pieces to make this possible. After that modification, Link was able to stay upright. It was with excessive care that I handled Link following this point, but I still had to do multiple repairs after moving him to our display shelf. When I looked at him later, more pieces had fallen apart. The build does LOOK cool, for those few seconds it holds together, but it’s the most frustrating LEGO-like build I’ve worked with, and I suspect glue would be needed to keep it together reliably.

Frustrating instuctions
The blocks are sturdy and click together nicely. The colors are bright and look as pictured. As for the instructions they leave a lot to be desired. The blocks are grouped into doubles of 1, 2, 3. SO you get 2x of each number with no indication as to which bag you should be opening 1st, etc The steps aren't broken into the numbers on the bags so it is difficult to know if you are missing a part or you need to open a new bag. After working an hour on this I was only able to get to step 20.It's not the worst, but I wouldn't be recommending it to anyone who isn't an advanced brick builder.

Cool set, tricky assembly
My son is a huge Zelda and Legos fan (as am I) so he really enjoyed putting this together…at least at first. Over two hours into it, he had to step away out of frustration with the way the instructions were very hard to follow and the pieces aren’t quite true Lego quality. He’s very smart and determined so he eventually got it but it wasn’t quite the pure, consistently enjoyable assembly process we expected (and there were several inexplicable pieces leftover). It is really cool once assembled though and definitely stands out from the usual sets out there. It also sells for a very fair price so we’re giving it a solid four stars.

very cool link figure
This building set was great to put together and links figure when done looks great to pose on top of my shelf. It has some articulation in the arms if your careful for if you want to pose your figure in a style you wanted. You can't pose with him with both sword and shield on his back but you can have his shield to his back and sword to the side if you want to pose with his bow if you prefer but the arrows are just for decor and you cant remove and have him pose with a bow and arrow knocked back. Also the face mask is permanent and link doesn't have the greatest face underneath but all in all great figure to have if your a fan of the legend of zelda series.

Not the Weakest Link
Bricks are compatible with the big brand. The bricks are of great quality and indistinguishable from the big brand. The engineering of the build is questionable in some places: some connections in the build are less stable and don't comply with the big brand standard. The amount of articulation is a little disappointing, but as a statue it is pretty interesting visually. Would have liked to have various faces for Link instead of just the mask.Has a unique aesthetic that invokes Zelda well, particularly BotW, but is still kind of different. The rope piece used as the string for the bow in the manual depicts a single piece that goes between the two ends, but 2 pieces that were half the length were included. I guess this could allow for a cocked arrow/ hand holding but the build/manual doesn't indicate how to do that.
