Bought this for my husband for his birthday. He loves tools and gadgets and seemingly has everything in that regard. We tested it looking under the couch and I was surprised at the quality. I could see the dog hairs under the couch lol the camera is not made for far distance viewing. While you can see things far away, the quality at a distance is poor. But again if your using this gadget your fishing that wire through something and the camera will be up close to whatever you are fishing through anyway. I can’t speak for the $200 one’s but I know this one is fine for us and anything we would use it for. I would recommend this for the price, cable length, how easy it is to use, and it works well. Important to note, all you have to do is open the box and plug in your device to charge it then turn it on. There is literally nothing required and I love that it’s rechargeable and not battery powered.

Cons, and there aren't many - No way to record. I wish there was an SD slot for recording - No carrying case. Small nitpick, but worth a mention. - Not 1080 like advertised. Still a good definition, plenty good enough for almost anything I can think the typical person would use this for. If I had to guess it's maybe 780?? Pros - The price. I caught a sale so this was 29.95. For that price I wasn't expecting a lot. I was pleasantly surprised. I would have still felt it was a good deal at 50 bucks. - Great field of view. At a few feet of distance I can see the whole 18 foot wall of my room and at about 2 inches I can clearly read small print. It looses focus at about 1 inch or so. - Lots of options. Flipping the screen upside-down will come in handy, switching to black and white, contrast, brightness and zoom functions and a control for LED brightness. - Long camera cable. Some might find it annoyingly long. I'd rather have it and not need it. Other things It comes with a few attachments, like a hook and a magnet so you can retrieve that pair of tweezers you dropped in the toilet. The attachments are cheap and feel like they would break easily. But at this price point, I can buy a better magnet. All in all, great buy. I'll be using this to peek behind walls to help find leaks without having to make a big hole to stick my fat head into. My last one, that died, cost 5 times this and didn't have half of the options this has.

I used it to look in the transmission of my tractor and worked fine. Camera is clear and lights worked well. Only thing the camera line isn’t very flexible

This camera comes in handy for many applications. Easy to use, good light for viewing and the cable flexes and holds where it is set for viewing. Great for checking muzzleloader rifle barrels.

This useful diagnostic tool is an Incredible value for the money. Simple controls, and works as it should. I am sure that models that cost five to ten times more offer more features like a tilting camera head that lets you look around , or a higher quality lcd screen, or recording capabilities, but at this price it is simply amazing great it is and how helpful it can be to quickly diagnose a problem inside a concealed area without having to tear open a wall or flor and cause thousands of dollars in repairs. It is money well spent.

Great camera and so easy to use. I used to to check out the grease golf in my sink drain and knew exactly what I had to do. Highly recommend.

I used this to snake up my dryer vent and it worked great. There was so much lint, and yes, I clean my filter every time I use the dryer, but for some reason there was a lot of lint. The scope went up to the vent and showed me the lint, then it later showed me that the vent was cleaned. I was able to use another tool that I bought from Amazon to clean out the vent. It was cool to see what was in the vent, this tool helped a lot.

Wow, great gadget, as described, super picture quality and plenty of extra things it does, brighten, light, black and white view option, and plenty of flex, rechargeable using "c" type charger included, no batteries needed and simple to use..... get one ......

Very clear, would recommend it made inspection easy, plus the long borescope, saves time and money.

Good quality product at a reasonable price

A handy piece of kit if you have a use for it... I wanted to set ignition timing on my motorbike, but didn't know if previous owners had swapped the original low compression pistons for high compression ones, which means a difference of four degrees ignition advance. To remove the tank, exhaust, carbs and head would be a chore, and after pricing up the gaskets and 'O' rings needed to finish the job (and the ongoing hassle of torqueing and retorqueing the head) it turned out cheaper and way quicker to buy this, which gave me a clear picture instantly... Sorted :-)
