Android 13 for Subaru Forester Radio 2002-2008 with Wireless Apple Carplay Android Auto 9" Touchscreen Car Stereo with Free Backup Camera GPS Navigation Bluetooth RDS DSP Head Unit (2GB RAM+32GB ROM)

I have a Subaru forester xs 2004, and this fit my car perfectly. Back up camera works well, and I love being able to use CarPlay with my vehicle. With CarPlay enabled, I’m allowed to get alerts and locations on my car while I’m away from it, which I normally wouldn’t be able to do without the device. It was easy to install everything, only took about an hour. Conveniently, this has android auto as well for those who don’t have an apple device. I also realized that there are other apps you can download, along with still being able to access local radio stations. It seems like you can also download images, videos, and music to the device to personalize it more. I haven’t explored that feature much, but it is cool nonetheless. With new phone use and driving laws, I couldn’t previously use my phone to navigate while driving. Now I can seamlessly navigate from my car with this device, by using my own voice from the microphone provided. Other than navigation, the majority of the time I use this to access Spotify from my car. It’s definitely made a major change in my life/car and that’s awesome considering how cheap the installation kit is. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone who has an older vehicle.

Excellent aftermarket head unit for my 2006 Subaru Forester XT with 14 pin connection. Install was straight forward. Worked wirelessly for BOTH Android Auto and CarPlay. My only gripe is the lack of a physical volume control (touchscreen only). Did not use the supplied backup camera but was able to use another aftermarket camera. Very satisfied with the product.

This stereo fit perfectly and looks amazing!! The screen picture quality and graphics are pretty good. But navigating through the menus is difficult and the sound quality while playing music is quite bad.

Lost the use of my subwoofer, now I need a amp and a subwoofer soo maybe it wasn't worth the headache lol. Installing was easy wrapping it to match my dash much harder.

This head unit is great. Comes with the whole trim piece and you just have to swap the vents and AC controls. Easy as cake. UI is a bit wonky but you get what you pay for. The other review for this head unit mentions that your speakers will have to be the next upgrade. What they meant by that is that the on board amplifier in this head unit isn’t very powerful. Max volume is probably as loud as you’d want to listen to music comfortably but in all honesty you’ll want to add an amp to boost the sound level at some point. That’s my next upgrade for my forester. Highly recommend this head unit to start with though. Took me 15 minutes to install.

Worth the price, looks great, runs smooth. However the wallpaper keeps resetting, and you will need to do some mods regarding subwoofer and amp connections. The unit do not have alot of power to run my currenr speakers. The reverse cameras takes quite a while to turn on. But overall looks good, runs good, worth the upgrade.

Installed this Android radio with Apple CarPlay in my Forster (2002-2008) and it's been a game-changer! Works flawlessly, better than expected. Quick and easy installation—had it done in under an hour. Beware: you'll realize how limited stock speakers are, so your next upgrade might be inevitable. Screen includes a bezel for radio, vents and temperature controls, you will need to grab eight screws to swap temp control into bezel. Wiring harness is plug-and-play. Don't forget to remove the screen film pre-configuration or end up needing to recalibration, like i did. Solid Apple CarPlay functionality and extreme affordability earn it a solid five stars from me. 10 days in, and I'm one happy driver. Will update if anything changes, but for now, it's a must-buy for 02-08 Forster owners.
