Sometimes I Lie: A Novel Hardcover – March 13, 2018

This is definitely in the top 3 for psychological thriller reads for me. Yes the beginning is a little boring but so are alot of other thrillers I’ve read. Once you start getting to the twists and turns it’s addicting!! You have to really read every word and pay attention or you’ll miss something (I definitely Had to go back a couple pages a time or two) but wow 90% of this book is just insane and keeps you on your toes! I have Recommended this book to all of my book reading friends.

Lots of twists and turns to keep you guessing. Quick and easy read. I was a bit confused by the ending.

First let me say, I love thrillers. I love it when the ending has a great twist that explains everything.This book is definitely a thriller. It is told from the point of view of a woman who is in a coma after a car accident. She admits right up front, 'Sometimes I lie'. And that means that, since she's the one telling the story, it's hard to figure out what is true and what is not.The problem is, don't expect the ending to explain it. Two hours after finishing this book, I am still thinking about it and wondering 'What did I just read???' There is an explanation...kinda. I'm not sure I'd call it 'jaw dropping' because I went away thinking, 'I must be really stupid because I have no idea what just happened' But then I looked online for reviews and, nope, LOTS of readers are confused. As I think about it more, the twists are unraveling in my mind, which I guess is exactly what the author intended.Of course, then there is that one, final twist on the last page, which made me say, 'Wait...WHAT???'So, if you want to read a thriller, this is it. Don't call it a beach read though. You need to pay attention and question everything that Amber says. Because sometimes she lies.

From the mind of Alice Feeney, another superb read. The story is so gripping and twisty. Just when you think you have figured it out, to realize nope not yet. The suspense is worth it because the end will leave yo saying “omg what?” This is a book I’d read again!

A little boring but has a good ending. I think if you're in the mood then it can be a fast and good read

This book was a slow read in the beginning but as soon as I got into it? What a book! So many plots and twists that I’m not even sure I understand the ending. It was just such a mind ****. Crazy crazy crazy but so worth the read. Psychological thrillers are really it and this didn’t disappoint. 5🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

For the most part, the book was interesting but it did feel like it was a little all over the place. I started it which is why I wanted to finish it but it felt like a huge build up to then an ending that I didn’t enjoy much

“People think that good and bad are opposites but they're wrong, they're just mirror images of one another in broken glass.”The writing is brilliant. The details are necessary for the unpredictable events, twists and turns while slowly peeling theonion and getting to the core. As I was reading I kept wondering what was real and what was not. After the ending it didn’t really matter after all, at least not to me.

What the heck?!I absolutely loved this book.I still don't know exactly what happened or who the bad guy is or anything really and I still have so many questions, but that's ok because this book was the twistiest of twisty thrillers and kept me guessing the entire way through.I love a good unreliable narrator and this book gave me that in spades, along with some very morally grey characters and some downright horrors.I feel like I will be thinking about this book for a long time to come. Such a good book, which I highly recommend.

Couldn't put it down, loved it

The writing is fine, and the end was interesting. But I found there were too many mysteries, "twists" not so surprising, and a certain sexual scene really disturbed me, uselessly to my opinion.
