One was surprisingly fast- the next rather slow
A few days ago I bought the 128GB version, which I found performs much the same as the 32GB keys of various makes I have lying around. Slow, that is. It takes a good long time to fill a key of this size. Then I decided to try the 512GB version. It looks exactly the same apart from a "USB 3.0" legend but the difference is dramatic. I've done no formal tests (yet) but this key feels really fast - approaching the speed of the 2TB USB mechanical hard drive I use for general backups. (This may not be a true speed comparison as the latter is a USB 2.0 device, but the new big drive is certainly way faster than the smaller ones.) I was blown away by how quickly it writes multi-gigabyte video files so I have no hesitation in recommending it, not just for backup but also for a lot of other things that traditionally required a USB mechanical drive. So I bought a second one. This looks identical but writes at only a fraction the speed of the first one. I cannot explain why. It seems you may be lucky and get a fast one, but if not you're down in the usual slooow lane. For my intended usage (backing up video projects) it doesn't matter too much that my backup will take a week rather than just a few hours; once done it won't be repeated. And I'll keep the first one for when I need to save stuff in a hurry. A final note for Linux users. These drives come formatted as ExFAT but I've found this to be unreliable when using rsync. Reformatting to ext4 cures the problem and rsync runs like a dream. This applies to all the USB keys I've tried, by the way.

good size and price, speed quality of colour and sound , will buy it again
This is the first time I bought this product. Well protected, so easy to carry, I used it today, and it works perfectly. It is immediately ready to use, with fast speed, colour, and sound, which is essential for me as I record films and videos. I realize it has been used for 5 hours, and it is still cold. I also recommend it for the price, which is around 30% lower than other products. It's a perfect size. I will surely buy again.

Massive Storage At A Modest Price
The stick which I originally received wouldn't store above 135GB, eventually failing completely after 3 attempts by MS-Windows to correct it. I AMZ-emailed the supplier, who responded within the hour (excellent service, they can't be faulted), sending-out a replacement by first-class post. Now somewhat the wiser, I first tested the replacement by filling it to within 50MB of its capacity (& byte-verifying it all), & all was well, so I'm now happy. But I've knocked a star off, 'cos the first one failed, indicating that Integral's testing may not be thorough enough. Also, both flash-sticks were a bit fussy when plugging-in - they were/are ok on my more-recent computer, but wouldn't connect/show-up on my older machine (whose usb-ports are probably now rather worn with age ... but other flash-sticks still load ok, & even this one's ok if I use an adapter). Again, this suggests the quality-level may be somewhat lower than it perhaps should be. Anyway, I wanted a 512GB stick to store my 350GB music-collection conveniently all on one stick, rather than spread around several. That object has been achieved (+ byte-verified, perfectly), so all's well for me. However, I'd mention that, once transferred onto the stick, the existing music-collection doesn't move-or-change, ie. the existing folders-&-files stay-put (albeit new stuff will be added, of-course) ... I'm not sure (given my concerns above over Integral's quality-control) that this stick would be suitable for more-dynamically-changing usage. In short, it's fine as an archive-device or for back-ups, but I'd be less certain about using it as a hard-working semi-hard-disk. The stick is reasonably-fast for the price : on mid-size mp3 music-files (10 to 30 MB) & via a usb2-port, write is about 8MB/sec, & read about 20+MB/s - certainly ok for music, & fine for all but massive-resolution video. As usual, the [second] stick didn't have 512 billion bytes (using everyday decimal-counting) - only 503.3GB (= 467GiB in binary-counting), but I'm afraid this short-falling is pretty-nigh universal on flash-devices. It came formatted as exFAT with a sector-size of 128KiB (binary-counting), so (unless you choose to re-format it differently, eg. NTFS) it's targeted towards storing pretty-large files, such as music & videos & movies ... which is, I suppose, exactly the purpose that most people would want such a huge storage-device for. As a footnote, I'm amazed at how cheap & available storage has become. My first storage-device was a 5.25-inch floppy, offering a whole 360 KiB. In those days, we all spent much time-&-effort trying to knock 5 KB off our files --- a wholly-different world to today. I wonder how long it will be before the first 512 TB flash-sticks arrive (but presumably offering only 500 TB, & with a 128 MB sector-size) ?

Integral 128GB Neon Blue USB 3.0 Gen 1 Flash Drive
The Integral 128GB Neon Blue USB 3.0 Gen 1 Flash Drive is truly a standout memory stick! I recently purchased a couple of these vibrant neon blue drives for my Blink Sync Module, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. Previously, I was using a metal drive, which would heat up too much for my comfort, so I opted for a plastic one, and it’s made all the difference. With USB 3.0 speeds, these drives are perfectly compatible with my sync module. I checked on my PC, and it’s formatted as exFAT, which is fantastic for my requirements. One of the most impressive features is the plug-and-play capability—no cumbersome driver downloads required! They are incredibly lightweight, making them easy to carry around. I also love the included red LED light that indicates when the drive is in use; it's a thoughtful design feature that many modern USB sticks overlook. Moreover, the Integral flash drive comes with a protective lid. This is a refreshing change, as many manufacturers have stopped including this essential feature. The lid helps keep dust and debris out of the connectors, ensuring longevity and reliability. In summary, this well-crafted USB flash drive strikes the perfect balance between weight and size. If you're searching for a speedy and stylish flash drive, look no further—this little gem is a must-have!
