works good!! definitely the most non-irritating cleanser i’ve ever used. i had a pimple on the side of my mouth that was painfully inflamed, and this helped calm and reduce it in less than two days. you can use on it’s own, but you’ll have more effective results when combined with the other heartleaf skincare products

I have acne prone, combination skin, always so hesitant with new products. I tried this product after fully breaking out with the Anua line, and it saved my skin. I've been using it for a week and has not broke me out, will update if any changes but so far this whole line has been great for my skin.

The oil cleanser is really good at deep cleansing on its own! If you are someone who doesn't usually double cleanse, I would say this may be for you if you are looking for an oil cleanser. I use this to remove my makeup, so I do double cleanse just to make sure I get it all off. However, my skin already feels clean and refreshed before I even follow with my regular cleanser. Does an excellent job at cleansing, removing makeup, and providing a fresh feel. I also appreciate how basic the ingredient list is for such an effective oil cleanse. It pairs well with Abib's matching Acne/Heartleaf Foam Cleanser for exfoliation days (has BHA salicylic acid in it), but I only use them together a few times a week to avoid over exfoliating. On days I don't use them together, I use a regular hydrating cleanser in its place. Just keep in mind the oil cleanser does have a PHA (a mild exfoliant) in it as well, so be careful not to overuse on sensitive skin or on a damaged skin barrier. On days you are feeling sensitive, I would opt for a more emollient oil cleanser to avoid uncomfortable skin, like the Peach & Lily Ginger Melt Oil Cleanser (which I also love) or something similar without exfoliants in the ingredient list.
