This book is a little smaller than A4. I would have given it 5 stars if the pages had been serrated because I like to pull pages out as I use them, however, if you were using it as a song book it is ideal, especially as the pages are numbered at the bottom also. It is light weight so would be good for on the go composers/song-writers.

The printed staves are quite small which does make writing music more difficult than I had anticipated, however it does the job.

When writing on it, you don't see the ink on the other side of the page and stuff which is nice - though I use a ball point pen. Difficult to flip the pages back because of the way it's glued together (can't have it display as just a4 very easily) but doesn't mean it's super inconvenient. Good for its price!
