I found out that I could not plug in the L-shaped plug. I don't know how to connect and L-shaped input. Help with this would be appreciated. I would suggest the manufacturer say clearly an L shaped plug won't work. Right now the device is useless to me.

Works about 20% of the time. My MacBook will charge for maybe 5 minutes then constantly disconnect.

This item works to connect the magsafe2 adapter to a usb-c. In my case it worked for a while but then started wth a "clicking on ean off" behavior which was maddeining. I then bought a "Snuglet" and that totally solved the switching on and off problem. Even the combo of the adpater and the sniglet cost way less than the new charger (104$ incuding cable - super rip off Apple Computer!!!) AND I fee lgood recycling the old adapter. Not sure why half of the reviews on this thread relate to a different item.

Green light flashes then quits, fails to do any charging. I broke down and bought a second USB-C charger and cable for $100... This product is a complete waste of time and money. I had high hopes but was utterly let down.

I hoped this will allow to connect my Thunderbolt Display charger to my Mac Book Pro (2018) --- it doesn't! it is on and off, impossible to work like a dock station without having the laptop open. Useless.

Extremely flaky. Works occasionally, but it needs to be plugged in over and over in a two step process, and even when it can be made to work it will eventually quit.
