Flame King 1/2LB Propane Tank, Refillable and Empty Cylinder for Small Propane Lamps, Lanterns and Camp Stoves

I use this for a mosquito repellent device. The device was made for those camping gas containers. They are really expensive so I got one of these 1/2 pound propane bottles and put an adapter on it. I like how sturdy the tank is sitting on the ground. Much less chance of tipping over than with a one pound tank. This paid for itself in one summer with the ability to refill from a 20 pound tank. It should last a long time. I like it.

Much more environmentally friendly than disposables, easy to refill and the size is perfect for a long weekend camping trip. My only minor gripe is that one sits level on a flat surface and one does not...the ring was welded onto the bottom too high and the bottom of the tank protrudes just enough to make it rock.

I to have problems with the bottle not sitting completely flat on a surface. it seems the round part on the bottom of the bottle is a tiny bit lower than the stabilizing ring that is welded to help it stand. It wobbles a little bit, not to much but could be a problem if your cooking with a 10 inch pan with a stove attached to the top and don't have one of those plastic stands like I do. I will buy more of these if they fix this little problem. Otherwise I love the size for backpacking in cold weather. I hear propane is better in cold weather compared to isobutane. Plus you can refill it of course.

Works well, pretty easy to refill, good functional size for hiking, hunting, or fishing. Seems durable. Good value.

I actually ordered a second one of these thinking maybe I just got a defect but they were both the same. Then I saw other people mentioned the same thing, so I am returning them for now to look for an alternative, or I guess will try re-buying again later? I got these to use with a small set on burner for cooking, however the bottom of them does not sit flush so they wobble back and forth or spin which is incredibly dangerous for cooking and defeats the entire purchase. I saw someone mention putting trim liner on them, which would probably work, but for a product the size of a baseball that is already twice as expensive than a single use container twice the size, that already has propane in it, these should be ready to go out the box no questions asked. $20 is way to much for such a simple design fix as increasing the base rim by a millimeter or attaching a nickles worth of liner. Severely disappointing, is there like a conspiracy among the manufacturers to make terrible re-usable products so we have to keep destroying the earth with single use garbage? Don't answer that, its rhetorical.

Nice little tanks for my tabletop. Easy to refill and the tops are nice to put back on to prevent rusting on the threads of the tank.

If you get a canister that wobbles you can fix it by adding car door trim on the bottom rim. Seeing how the seller has had multiple issues with this, they should provide car trim with their product... If they did it would be a five star review!

Very happy with filters. Fit perfect in my zero water counter top dispenser. Would buy again.
