This is my second review on the Outdoor Solar Light. Where I live in Florida, there are many various birds. Occsionally, they would choose my solar panel as a landing place. The bird talons would scratch the panel surface. This situation over four years ended up damaging the panel surface. After buying my replace panel, I created a fine wire mesh protective cover, as seen in the second photo.This is my second DINGLILIGHTING Outdoor Solar Spot Lights set. Over a four year period the solar panel suffered bird claw scarring as their perching spot and clouding. These problems did not affect the lighting system's function. I simply wanted to replace the solar panel for a new one . The fact that I bought another solar lighting system from DINGLILIGHTING Solar should show my approval of this product. I did contact the service provider and honestly say they responded fairly quickly via email and determined to help me anyway they could. Giving the service people an AAA rating. For the solar panel issue mentioned above, I plan on installing a small (fence) wire cage around the solar panel to avoid further bird issues.

SELLER'S REVIEW: Originally, I purchased this light and it did not have the stake for the solar panel. I e-mailed the seller, and after several attempts at trying to explain that I just needed the stake, they still didn't quite understand and offered to send a box of miscellaneous replacement parts, which could take several weeks. Needless to say, I returned that item and just re-purchased a new one and received that in 2 days. I appreciate the sellers eagerness to try and help, but perhaps it was the language barrier, or maybe the seller was just a drop shipper and didn't really understand what a "stake" is. And, again, I appreciate the offer of miscellaneous replacement parts, but I didn't want to take the chance that my part wouldn't be in there, and I certainly didn't want to wait several weeks. It would have been nice if they just offered to re-send a new unit, or offer some sort of modest discount for the replacement, but that did not happen.PRODUCT REVIEW: Man, this thing is BRIGHT! It's got a bit larger solar panel than you'd find on a typical solar landscape light. And I love that the lights have a decent sized cord, so you can put the panel in a sunny location, and use the lights somewhere it's shady. I use them as an uplight on a couple trees. If I put a regular solar landscape light there, with the solar panel attached, they would get no direct sun, and not work. This works wonderfully! Lasts as long as I can tell - only had them our for a few days, and I can report that after 6-7 hours of operation, they were still going strong. I suspect they stayed on until dawn. They're more of a beam than a spread, which is great for taller objects, like if you wanted to uplight a flag, a tall tree, or an object further away. They are much, much brighter that any other solar light I've tried. Honestly, if I didn't know this was solar, I would absolutely think this was a plug-in electric light.This would be a 5-Star review, if not for the initial issue.

Before I purchased this light I was concerned about how difficult would be the installation. as some of solar lights with panels require drilling the holes which I am not able to do. now I can tell for amazon customers that the installation of these lights are very easy and very convenient/ As you can place the solar panel at the very open spot with sunshine the whole day and the actual lights in the shade. Nice enough lights, and having two from a single larger panel can be convenient, especially if you want the lights in a shadier area.Huge prof is waterproof. Unfortunately many of solar lights are not waterproof design which makes me wonder as I think that everyone would install the light out door and yes we have rain sometimes so what I suppose to do? running around when its rain and cover all my lights? ridiculous!So I bought these lights and very happy to have themThey work the whole night till earlier morning.My 1 minor complaints is that there is only one brightness settings, where the lights can go bright or dim. That's nice, because dim will run thru the night, and these don't make it the whole night, and they are actually brighter than I wanted. Hard to complain about bright though, so no deduction. If you're looking for even softer light - and these are a warm white.so 1 feature I wish to be improved - to add brightness setting to this light. However this is my favorite solar lights so far. After purchasing these lights to shine on my American flag relative to flag protocol, I was amazed at the brightness of the lights that stayed on all night long until the sun rose in the morning.I have always stayed away from solar spotlights because of the results that I was not happy with. However, after reading some reviews of these lights, I decided to give it a try, installed them, and cannot believe how great they operate. They were extremely easy to install, were extremely bright on the flag area and the quality of the product for such a low price was great. I contacted and spoke with a representative by email for a question and that question was answered immediately and courteously.I would highly recommend the purchase of these lights.I will note that I had contact with the seller for questions and their feedback was great. They were easy to work with their response assisted me with the light installation. I would work with them again.
