Fantastic bit of kit. Honest and reliable manufacturer
Over the past year, I have been consistently impressed by Huepar’s laser level. This is my second model from Huepar, having replaced the first one due to a break caused by knocking off a 10-foot wall, which was entirely my fault.I frequently utilise this laser level at work, and its impressive battery life is a significant advantage. The four 360-degree green laser lines are exceptionally bright and visible indoors, even in low light conditions. I have consistently found it to be highly accurate, levelling well and providing clear warnings if it becomes too out of level. The product is rechargeable and includes a compatible adapter for AA batteries, ensuring its continued use. The included accessories enhance the product’s value and functionality. Notably, the case is an improvement over the original model, featuring a sturdy outer shell and a padded insert that securely holds all components. It provides excellent protection, especially when stored in the back of a van. The case also includes two interchangeable mounts, which I have found to be versatile and convenient.Huepar’s customer service is truly commendable. Recently, I encountered an issue with the screw thread for the bracket, which had worn down and compromised its security after extensive use. Despite it being over a year since the purchase, I emailed Huepar on a Sunday afternoon, requesting a replacement for the damaged part. By 1am Monday they had already replied to my email, and within a few short and straightforward emails, Huepar replaced the part free of charge. This experience not only saved me money but also prevented a perfectly 90% of a good bracket from ending up in landfills. On another occasion, I emailed Huepar about a different matter on a Sunday afternoon, and they responded within an hour. This level of responsiveness is exceptional compared to the responses I have received from major tool manufacturers. The laser level’s performance is comparable to that of high-end brands, at a fraction of the price.

Great laser unit, great customer support.
Overall nice piece of tech. I am not going to describe it, I am going to share my experience.Nice and crisp lines. Well calibrated out of the box. Bottom plane has it's use cases much more often than you expect. The battery life is about right, in the region of 5+ hours. I am using only the planes I need. However, a second battery is fully charged on stand by and the power bank is handy, for just in case. The bracket is a game changer for fine adjusting. The additionally bought Huepar LR-6RG Laser Detector is a great time saver and makes adjusting cabinets quick, easy and precise job.The remote and the phone app have limited use to me. The phone app has the annoying feature to ask for GPS position. Not the end of the world from privacy point of view. Possibly is useful feature for the marketing to establish the areas where the lasers are used.On the customer service front the situation got interesting. After 2 years of use the bottom plane started to fail and now is completely gone. I contacted the customer service and they requested full description and pictures. I believe they jumped through quite a few hoops, between the factory and management to get the situation resolved to my full satisfaction.Kudos to the customer service!Thank you very much!

Essential Piece of Kit. Sturdy too.
First observations on unwrapping:* sturdy case in which the level and accessories fit well* all items present and correct* the level itself has a good level of fit and finishGetting started was as simple as removing the battery and taking out the protective plastic. The device powered on immediately and show that the battery was fully charged. Used it with the "Ceiling Clamp/Fine-Tuning Bracket Laser Level Adapter" to check the deflection in some joists. Using the level was self-explanatory (put it in position, wait for it to level up) and press the power button to cycle through the 3 different lasers until the ones you want are the only ones activated. In normal indoor conditions the laser is good and bright. Out doors it is just visible 1m away in bright overcast conditions. The self-levelling is quick and effective. I checked it with a 1.2m spirit level and the beams were level/plumb. Overall, it is very easy to use.The only criticism I have of the device are:* Sometimes re-positioning it results in it resetting to switch on all lasers at full brightness. I can't tell if this is by design or an un-intended characteristic* The power button is only really a power button (press and hold for 2 seconds) when self levelling system is in locked (manual levelling) mode. Normal course of action to turn it on is to move the lock/unlock slider to the unlocked position (automatic levelling mode). This inconsistency was a bit grating at first and I had to resort to the manual to really understand it. Soon get used to using the lock/unlock slider as default means of powering the device off and on.* I suspect this is true of all levels, but when handling/moving it, you have to be very careful not catch your retinas with the lasers. I think for this reason, it would be safer if it powered on with one laser and in low power mode, and that when it was positioned in a difficult to reach place, the power/level buttons were a bit bigger and more pronounced.Overall, great value product and very highly recommended. Really more than 4 stars but not quite 5.
