A little bit on the bassy side of sound, but it's otherwise very high-quality. Music, games, movies, and even calls sound wonderful in it. I can't say the same for the microphone that comes in with one of the cables, as it tended to have a lot of white noise. Otherwise, the microphone was clear and my calls were audible with some noise cancellation, albeit it sucks to need that. The headset's comfortable enough to wear all day, as the cups are soft and the headband is quality. The cable length is great, but I wish it was a tad little longer for my case as my PC is under my desk and the cable barely reaches the headset on my head when seated a tad too far away from my desk. One of the cables also didn't last very long, as I had to switch to the other after half a year(?) of using it. Speaking of which, props to Corsair for bringing a mic cable and a non-mic cable for the headset. I love the simplicity of the headset - pure 3.5mm analog connection and no volume slider to worry about, like most other headphones. The VIRTUOSO was a solid buy.

These headphones are awesome. The Virtuoso Pro's have significantly better build quality than headphones that cost over twice as much (I know because I own HD600s). Many of the parts on these headphones are also user changeable, so it's easy to replace components that wear out. They even look great. I expect them to last an exceptionally long period of time - which is great because I hate replacing stuff because the tiniest thing broke on it and it's unrepairable. Hyper-capitalism sucks. The headphones sound great. Don't let Reddit reviewers make you think otherwise. No, these headphones won't make you feel like God himself has connected directly to your ear to pump in melodious tunes he composed in his spare time. If you're the kind of person who collects headphones for a hobby, who purchases wired headphones that cost over $700, has spent an equal amount of money on a DAC, or who spends hours and hours EQing their headphones to get the perfect sound - these are probably not for you. For the rest of us mortals who just want to play video games or listen to music with minimal fuss, with good sound, and a microphone, these headphones are fantastic right out of the box. If you want, you can EQ them and they'll sound even better. But honestly, you're probably not going to notice that the explosion from the air strike you called down in the name of spreading freedom across the galaxy sounds SLIGHTLY warmer and muddier than the theoretical perfect headphone. You're going to be too busy promoting democracy with your bullets. And at the end of the day, that's what counts. Same goes with the microphone. Should you narrate Planet Earth season 4 with these? No. Will your buddies hear you scream for a revive? Yes, clearly. I've seen people complain about the microphonics of the wire. Yes, when the wire rubs on your clothes, you can hear it just a bit. If you're a professional or an enthusiast who needs total silence - again these aren't the headphones for you. If you're just some person who wants to hear some tunes, watch some videos, or pwn some noobs, you're not going to care. Comfort wise - this is subjective depending on the shape of your head and your preferences. I can wear these for a couple of hours at a time before I begin to notice them, but this is the case with all headphones for me. For reference, I find these to be much more comfortable than the AudioTechnica M50s, but less comfortable than my HD600s. Cheers.

Best headset I've owned, the sound quality is there, the highs are crisp, the mids are excellent, and the lows aren't too strong, perfect for gaming, I personally wouldn't use them for music because I'd like more bass but that being said; again perfect for gaming, no complaints!!
