Research shows that 50% of egg protein is used to build muscle while only 40% of meat, 18% of whey and 14% of plant proteins are used in an anabolic manner. One serving of Source Nutrition costs $1.25 and is equivalent in "usable anabolic protein" to a 4 oz steak at $2.75 - more than twice as much.The first glass was a little too sweet for me, so I added a spoonful of organic cacao powder and it was perfect!I'll admit, the first couple of glasses did affect my digestion by giving me some gas and softer stools, but after my fourth glass, I was doing much better.For all my powder mixes, I put an ounce of water in a glass, microwave it for 30 seconds, drop 1 scoop of Chocolate Flavored Source Nutrition EggWhite protein and a spoonful of organic cacao powder, then I use a butterknife to briskly mix it for 30 seconds before filling the glass halfway with unsweetened almond milk, mixing it some more then filling the 12 oz glass to the top. Sure it takes a couple of minutes, but no noise and no blender to clean. I've noticed that if I take the time to stir until all the bubbles of powder are gone, I get less gas.I will buy this again bc its easy to mix, it tastes great (with cacao powder), its clean and its the best protein source available for my money.

Source Nutrition’s EGGWHITE Protein powder is fantastic. The flavor is very good, but better yet is the way it curbs my appetite. I go to it again and again to satisfy inbetween-meal hunger, and for pre-workout energy.Here is how I mix it. I start off with a bullet blender and add enough water to cover the blades. This prevents caking. Next, I add one scoop of Source Nutrition’s EGGWHITE Protein powder. On top of this I add 2 ½ tablespoons of non-fat dry powdered milk and 3-4 ice cubes, and top it off with water to the 12-ounce level. Then blend until you can’t hear the ice rattling. This makes about one shaker cup full of a frosty vanilla smoothie. It’s great. Of course, you can skip the powered milk if it’s not to your liking.Now, here’s the part you will like. The label on the container displays a mascot of a pumped rooster. Clearly, the artist attempted to create a 3D effect by drawing in backlighting, but what the artist really did was make the rooster look like it was taking a whiz. See for yourself on the attached pics, but be warned, you can’t un-see it once the image has hit your brain.Since the whizzin' chick is forever burned into my memory, I now call the product Chicken Whiz. Yeah, I know, it’s a rooster, still…Chicken Whiz sounds better. This leads me to bizarre statements like, “You want some chicken whiz?” or “Time to order more chicken whiz.”Let me be clear, I really like this product and I will order more. The label does not change its flavor or how it works, but it does open the door to some fun. Yup, love my chicken whiz.

Pros- mixes easily, not many ingredients, natural sweetenerCons- I can’t drink this with just water. However, I have a picky pallet. This is what I do to make it enjoyable to drink. Option one: 6 oz. Vanilla Almond milk, 4 oz. water, 1 scoop vanilla protein powder, 1 Tbls. Non-alkalized cocoa, 1 tsp. Vanilla. Option 2: 6 oz. Vanilla Almond milk, 2 oz. Full fat Coconut milk (these are good fats and help keep me fuller), half a banana, 6 strawberries, 1 scoop protein powder, handful of ice cubes, packet of stevia; blend in blender. Option 2 is my favorite because I love strawberry shakes. I don’t mind drinking my daily protein if I do one of these options. I also add a scoop of grass fed protein collagen powder to add nutrients. All the stuff I do to hide the flavors of the protein powder also hides the taste of the collagen.Yes I will buy this product again. It’s hard to find a good quality egg white protein with natural sweeteners without all the unnecessary ingredients and this one nails it. Also no clumps when mixing so the mixture is smooth. Super plus!

Protein powders are tricky..and the dairy powders are not good for the gut in the long haul. We've had zero digestive issues with this protein. Mixes great with frozen fruit and tastes great. What more can you ask for in a protein supplement?

This is wonderful tasting and mixes well! Since I'm new to egg white protein powders I thought I would try a different kind once I ran out. I'm sorry I did! It was horrible. I will never buy any other brand of protein powder but this brand.

My dietician has me cutting out all dairy (including whey) and gluten. Finding a protein powder that's whey-free and gluten-free has been incredibly challenging. I've been to the GMC & Vitamin Shoppe stores and left empty-handed. I've tried rice protein powder, which tastes like a cardboard box, and other various powders that are gag-inducing. This protein powder has a strong vanilla flavor to it, but I'll take it over "cardboard box" any day. When I mix it, I add my liquid first, then the protein powder. Blend for a few seconds to get it mixed in with the liquids and equally dispersed, and lastly, I add my frozen fruit.

I used to buy these jugs at $35.00 each but in just 2 short years the price of these have skyrocketed to $60.00. That's nearly double the price. Thanks but no thanks, I'll find a cheaper alternative. Also, egg prices have dropped significantly in price since that last bird flu outbreak, and yet the price of these jugs have gone up. Why? 5 stars for quality pritein, minus 2 stars for crazy expensive price.
