Born to Heal: The Amazing True Story of Mr. A and The Astounding Art of Healing with Life Energies

In the book "Search for the Truth" by the same author, she mentions in passing an amazing healer. (It seems that although the healer is anonymous in this book, his name was William E. Gray) This book is the story of his life. All I can say is "wow". Apparently he did try to describe how he operates, in a much earlier book that I have also obtained, and called "Know Your Magnetic Field"One of the fascinating concepts here is that we each have different magnetic fields, and that healers, to be most effective, should align with the patient. He also suggests that your basic sign - fire, earth, water or air indicates the compatibility of our magnetic fields to a partner, and that its either energising or debilitating if you have the wrong life partner at an energy level. Geez, another thing to worry about?Published initially in 1976, this is a book about the most amazing healer to have walked this planet. And that I think includes Jesus of Nazareth. It would not be fair to compare this anonymous individual to Jesus in any other respect, but given that he spent his whole life healing, and that he healed the most amazing conditions, I think that statement is warranted. I think that this book could just be the most impressive book I have ever read. So what is so amazing?Firstly this individual was so connected to spirit, over his entire lifetime, that he learnt exactly what he was doing and why. And thus he has set out a conceptual framework as to why we suffer from disease and even mental illness, and what to do to remove these conditions permanently. The framework makes a great deal of sense to me, as I have an electrical engineering background, and I am also a remote healer, so I have felt these "life energy currents"Were there any cases he could not solve? Well not mentioned specifically but if individuals did not return for the proper course of treatments, he predicted that their condition would return. In his own mind, he permanently resolved 9 out of 10 cases. It is interesting that he found that a longstanding case of arthritis would take many treatments to reverse. But he never comments that "wear and tear" cannot be reversed, which is what we have been led to understand. And he certainly healed some folks very advanced in years.This book is based on research by Ruth Montgomery, and she refers to a much earlier book called "Know your Magnetic Field" that was written by this individual's nurse, and in close collaboration with the healer himself. But she neglects to mention that she pretty much has extracted all of that book as source material for her book. Which means of course by obtaining that earlier book, you can get a good insight into the material.

this has been the most powerful book I have read about BORN TO HEAL..as a therapist and natural healer myself..using electromagnetic fields of energy to facilitate spontaneous healing is what I have wanting to learn ...this is such a validating experienced shared in this book~~most promising and transformative for me.

Package came as expected. This book is a remarkable account of a man who could heal with his hands. Written in the 70s and 80s, Ruth Montgomery documented her acquaintance with him, and saw the results of his healing, which he attributed to his ability to be the "instrument" of the 'Powers'. I would have liked to have more detailed description of the analysis of the people he treated, and the procedures, but this was an early book, written by a lay person who was formerly a columnist in Wash. DC.

I've read most of Ruth Montgomery's books and I find them all very interesting. This one is no different. I did discover the name of the healer to whom she was writing about and his name is Bill Gray. Through a little research, I found he wrote a book called Know Your Magnetic Field, which I also read, but have to say I was a bit disappointed. Although he shares some of his knowledge, I was expecting so much more from this particular book. It was redundant to Born To Heal. I would highly recommend Born To Heal to those who enjoy reading metaphysical material.

After my late husband had his first stroke, we tried everything to help his recovery. We tried acupressure therapy, acupuncture, traditional physical therapy, and even "energy therapy." During one of the energy sessions, the therapist recommended this book. I had had a hard time finding this book, but there is was on the Amazon website! Quick delivery time, also.

All of us have this power, most of us will never tap into it because we lack the awareness this book speaks to.I read this book many years ago and lost my copy then repurchased a copy through this site, it's like my reference book.Circuitry or energy,,,,,we'll come to realize it is all the same and when balanced we are healthy,Lori Houde

As a licensed physical therapist for over 30 years, I found Born to Heal to be inspirational, and a very realistic goal for all health care profesionals who are ready to use meditation and complementary systems of treatment that bring dramatic improvements in their patients lives.This is not a how to do book, rather one which inspires the reader who is interested, to look into human energy based treatments with more insight and confidence.

I Have connected with Ruth Montgomery on a soul level. It helped to know about Mr. A and the art of his energy work. I loved the book.
