Budget Collection of their Greatest Hits. Review: A flashback indeed - Back in the early 80's, Imagination were one of those bands you either loved or loathed. As for me well, for my sins, I belonged to the 1st scenario ; I just loved their music & the crisp, clear sound from Steve Jolley & Tony Swain - who went on to produce Bananarama, Spandau Ballet & Alison Moyet - was the icing on the cake for me. All their hits & a few lesser known songs are on here, including the extended versions of "Body Talk" & "Just An Illusion". It's a pity some of the other hits (including my favourite "Music & Lights") were not presented in their extended versions as well, but it's a good, well-filled greatest hits compilation. Review: CD - This CD album is brilliant all the tracks are great, well worth getting.

Purchased used, received in Brilliant condition! I loved this group in their day, got great memories of seeing them live. The sound quality is excellent. Love it!! ❤

its good
[[ASIN:B0000507KX The Very Best Of Imagination]...its a good cd with lots of the guys hits and more. the only thing is a few of the songs do go on abit, it sounds like the music has stayed the same and they have changed the song,so it can get on your wick after a while, its still full of some great dance songs and its great to hear them again. if you are looking for a collection of hit tracks then this cd will be a good one to start with.................enjoy

My first exposure to Imagination was the end music of the movie "F/X." Their song "Just an Illusion" impressed me to the point that every time the movie played on satellite, I was sure to catch the ending just so I could hear it. I finally decided to see if they had more to offer. and Amazon came through again with this album, among others. Wow! Punchy beats, smooth harmonies, lyrics you can actually understand - it's all there. Recommend? You bet!!
