Seagate FireCuda Gaming Hub Review
The Seagate FireCuda Gaming Hub is an external hard drive designed for gamers who need a lot of storage space for their games, movies, and other content. Here are some reviews of the Seagate FireCuda Gaming Hub, 8TB Pros Large capacity for storing a vast collection of games and other content. Fast for a spinning external hard drive, thanks to its 7,200rpm platters. RGB lighting adds a cool look to any gaming setup. Great value for the price compared to external SSDs. Easy to connect and use. Cons Plodding compared with most external SSDs. Limited range of connectors. Plastic build could be more premium. Can't play PlayStation 5 games from the hard drive. Overall, the Seagate FireCuda Gaming Hub is a great desk addition for backing up and archiving your collection. It is a great value for the price and excels at backing up and storing all the games you could ever hope to own. The 8TB version is perfect for those who need a lot of storage space for their games and other content. The FireCuda Gaming Hub is fast for a spinning external hard drive, thanks to its 7,200rpm platters, but it is plodding compared with most external SSDs. The limited range of connectors is a downside, but it is easy to connect and use. The plastic build could be more premium, but the RGB lighting adds a cool look to any gaming setup. If you are looking for a large capacity external hard drive for your gaming needs, the Seagate FireCuda Gaming Hub is a great option And If Your Looking For Hard Drive For Steam Games This Is The Best Thing To Get I Have 345 Steam Games Downloaded And I Have Still Have Storage Left And It Runs Steam Games Like Its Nothing

Great value Xbox storage quick setup with one extra step
I bought the Senate 2TB external hard drive to expand storage on my Xbox and overall it’s been a great, reliable addition. The drive wasn’t pre-formatted for Xbox, so I needed to format it on a PC first. This only took a few minutes and was very straightforward, but it’s worth knowing in advance in case you don’t have easy access to a computer. Once that was done, the Xbox recognised it immediately with no issues. Since then, performance has been solid. Games install and run smoothly, it’s quiet in use, doesn’t get hot, and feels well made for the price. The 2TB capacity gives loads of room for modern games and updates, which is a big plus. Overall, excellent value for money. As long as you’re aware of the quick formatting step, it does exactly what you want and works seamlessly with Xbox once set up. Would happily recommend.

More storage than my brain can handle.
I recently purchased the Seagate FireCuda Gaming Hub, and let me tell you, it's like the Swiss Army knife of hard drives—if the Swiss Army was made up of gamers with RGB lights! First off, this 8TB behemoth is so big, I half expected it to start offering me unsolicited advice about my life choices. I mean, 8TB? That’s like having a pantry full of snacks, but instead of chips, it's loaded with all my favourite games! I can finally store my entire library without having to delete the only game I’m really good at (which is, of course, Solitaire). The customizable RGB lighting is a game-changer. I can finally coordinate my gaming setup to match my mood—bright pink for when I’m feeling fabulous and a deep, brooding red for when I’m rage-quitting. My setup looks like a disco exploded in a tech shop, and I’m here for it. The dual forward-facing USB ports are perfect for plugging in my gaming accessories—like my LED mouse and that weird fidget spinner I thought would help me concentrate (spoiler: it doesn't). Now I don’t have to crawl under my desk like a tech-savvy contortionist just to charge my gear. Oh, and let’s talk about the 3-year Rescue Services. If this thing ever decides to pull a disappearing act, I know Seagate has my back. I just hope they don’t send a rescue team that shows up with a compass and a map—my data is way more valuable than a scenic tour of my lost files. In summary, if you want a hard drive that’s bigger than your life goals and comes with disco lights, get the Seagate FireCuda Gaming Hub. Just be prepared: once you fill it up, you might have to face the cold, hard truth about how many copies of “The Sims” you really own.

A nice drive, but it was not a simple plug and play experience for me.
I already have the Gaming version of this drive and that worked flawlessly as soon as it was connected to my win 10 pc. This time I opted for the PC version and immediately ran into trouble. My PC could not see it. Checking through device manager the enclosure was visible there but it didn't show the drive itself at all and windows flat out ignored it altogether in the normal file explorer. Seagates help files were pushing for reformat and were also less than perfect to follow. I used the minitools download for partition work and assigned the drive a unique drive letter and after that it worked perfectly. I wasted a lot of time working that little bit of info out and deducted a star from the item for that issue. It works fine now and seems perfect. But all the messing about to get to this stage was highly annoying. Outside of that, the enclosure is a nice thing. With controllable RGB lighting making it look pretty cool in use. But the additional of a fat usb and a usb c socket on the front adds another string to the drives bow. I like the form factor of the drive and now it is working properly it is a really nice unit to have. It's just a shame that it was such a pain to get working properly.

Failed me.
The only external HD I have which actually failed me. I've had a dozen of external HD, some even 30 years old and they still work. This I must say is the only one which doesn't work and all in under 12 months of usage. A complete waste of time. I recommend other hard drives from this make, they still work. Seagate is a good make, but this unit didn't do the job for me.
