Excellent product. Easy to install and works to smooth out interference between electrical wiring in my engine compartment and my radio. I now pull in more long distance radio stations. These come in different sizes and simply snap onto whatever wire you wish to use them on. Excellent product. Reasonable price. Fast shipping.

They're ferrites....
These are intended to suppress high-frequency transients ("RF noise") on a wire that you pass through and then clamp the two pieces around it. That they do; its a nice assortment of different sizes (for different cable diameters.) These are effective on high-frequency transients and RF, but will not on rectified noise in the audio band; if the noise is RF and rectified after the core it will work, but if it got rectified before that (e.g. in a microphone capsule and then is an audio signal on the wire) then it won't do anything because at lower frequencies it doesn't help. For what I needed them for they work as expected.

solved my noisy power issue.
im astounded. i had no idea what these were until i finally sat for a few hours to research how to solve my building's & my laptop's obnoxious noisy power supplies for my music production/speaker setup. i clipped x2 of these on my laptop power supply near the pin jack & x1 on my audio interface usbc cable & my setup has been noiseless for several days now. i cant recommend these enough, especially when the alternative is a $300-$500 specialty rfi power strips that still dont address the problem directly. give it a try.

Great shipping, product did not work for my application
Did not stop the frequency impact to my car radio when I attached the product to my dash camera power cord. Disappointed. Need to research if there's a certain way to install, like making a loop.

Good value. There’s some larger sizes in this set that worked well when isolating a 5v switching dashcam power supply.

They work
I installed a new stereo on my boat and had an alternator whine. In researching for solutions, I found this kit. The ability to have different sizes and options to wrap. The wires was critical because it needed more than just one. They work, and it was a simple fix. Now I have a kit and I am ready for, the next need.

Sinceramente no entiendo porqué algunos le han calificado mal. Personalmente, de entre todas las opciones (compré de otras marcas), la cantidad, calidad y presentación del producto, realmente son excelentes. Un producto muy bien presentado al cliente y el producto funciona. Lo he comprado "para probar", sin realmente esperar algo, siendo honesto. Busqué información en Internet y YouTube (hay poca la verdad), sin embargo, aún así decidí probarlos. Después de empezar a colocarlos en varios de los cables (de sonido, HDMI, ethernet, para cargar el celular, etc.), en mi humilde percepción ha habido una mejora real en calidad de sonido e imagen. No estoy seguro si es así, pues no tengo forma de medirlo o cuantificarlo, sin embargo, el sonido de las bocinas lo siento más claro y la imagen de la TV también más limpia y nítida. Sin que suene "a promesa", pero me ha parecido que la carga del celular ha mejorado (una ligera reducción del tiempo de carga y mejor rendimiento de la batería). Tal vez sólo sea "el efecto placebo", pero sí considero que en verdad mejora la nitidez y claridad del sonido en las bocinas y lo recomendaría. Son de esos productos que, si en verdad no logran nada, tampoco te perjudica el usarlos. Recomiendo probarlos y dejarlos... El precio realmente es muy accesible y el beneficio puede ser mayor que la inversión. Unos pocos pesos por un producto que, a mi parecer, realmente funciona.

No technical info included as to what type of ferrite material is being used (31, 43, 61 etc). The type does make a difference when using at certain frequencies in order to stop interference.
