In 2 minds
I'm in 2 minds about this. We have been using this watch now for 9 months for wetting problems during the day with a 6 year old. Firstly, this seems to be a pretty niche market, lots of expensive watches (for what they are) and not much on offer. After researching a lot I feel that this is one of the better ones out there. The good: It does help with wetting & it's a relief to have something. My daughter relies on it and is not comfortable without it. It works well and is reliable. It's more waterproof than expected having survived a few baths/showers when we forgot to take it off. It seems robust and looks good. The bad: the strap has been "eaten" by my daughter chewing on the bit sticking out. Strap not robust for kids especially nervous ones or with wobbly teeth & their gums hurt. My most hated part about this watch is the battery!! It doesn't last long (4 months?) And I rely on a neighbour who has small screwdrivers to change the battery last minute when it suddenly dies or the vibration stops. Then all the settings are forgotten and I need to look for an online manual to remind myself how to reset everything. It is tiresome. In conclusion, for £50 I think improvements could be made. It should be rechargeable to save piddling around changing batteries and if the battery does die it should remember the settings. It just doesn't seem like a £50 watch with the battery hassles. The setup each time is fiddly. The strap itself could also do with a rethink. However, at the moment with not much competition; if you need it then it does work well.
