Awesome Android
This Lenovo Android tablet is getting on. The P12 is over 2 years old now. I was a little hesitant at first as I worried about it being dated and slower performing, but it's been great and still one of the best options in this price range. It came as a bundle with a case cover and stylus. Both are nicely designed and work well. The tablet has a premium finish and looks great. It's not the lightest or thinnest tablet in the market but it doesn't need to be for my needs. The screen, even though it's not AMOLED looks great. The resolution is 3K and it looks super sharp. Colors are warm and realistic. Watching content is a delight. The audio is very clear and crisp, though it does lack bass. There are 4 speakers, with two on either side in landscape mode. The audio is even better with high quality wireless headphones and earbuds. The only downside to the tablet from my POV is that it's running Android 14 and Lenovo won't be updating it to 15. I don't really have an issue with that but it's worth pointing out if you want those future updates. Lenovo have committed to security updates until 2028. For $330 I think this is an absolute bargain and i'm very happy with my purchase.

The **Lenovo Tab P12** is a mid-range tablet that offers a blend of performance, display quality, and accessory support, making it suitable for entertainment, productivity, and casual gaming. Here's a detailed overview: **Pros:** 1. **Large, High-Resolution Display:** The Tab P12 features a 12.7-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 2944 x 1840 pixels. This expansive display is ideal for watching movies, reading, and multitasking. citeturn0search0 2. **Solid Performance:** Equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 processor, the tablet delivers reliable performance for everyday tasks and moderate gaming. It comes with either 4GB or 8GB of RAM, depending on the storage variant, ensuring smooth multitasking. citeturn0search3 3. **Comprehensive Accessory Support:** The Tab P12 supports the Lenovo Tab Pen Plus stylus, which is included in the box. The stylus offers 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity, enhancing note-taking and drawing experiences. Additionally, the optional Lenovo Keyboard Pack provides a magnetic docking keyboard with a touchpad and cover, improving productivity for typing-intensive tasks. citeturn0search1 4. **Long Battery Life:** With a substantial 10,200mAh battery, the Tab P12 offers impressive battery life, lasting up to 10 hours of continuous use, such as video playback. citeturn0search5 5. **Premium Build Quality:** The tablet boasts a metal frame with a dual-tone finish, providing a premium look and feel. Its dimensions and weight (615g) contribute to a substantial in-hand feel, though it may be heavier than some competitors. citeturn0search6 **Cons:** 1. **Shorter Battery Life Under Intensive Use:** While the battery performs well under typical usage, intensive tasks like gaming can drain the battery more quickly. For example, playing graphically demanding games can reduce battery life significantly in a short period. citeturn0search5 2. **Limited High-End Gaming Performance:** Although capable of handling casual games, the Tab P12 may struggle with high-end gaming at maximum settings. Users may need to adjust graphics settings for smoother gameplay. citeturn0search2 3. **Absence of High Refresh Rate Display:** The tablet's display is limited to a 60Hz refresh rate, which may be noticeable when scrolling or during fast-paced content compared to devices with higher refresh rates. citeturn0search6 4. **Fingerprint Sensor Reliability:** Some users have reported issues with the reliability of the side-mounted fingerprint sensor, with occasional failures to recognize fingerprints. citeturn0search8 5. **Lack of 3.5mm Audio Jack:** The Tab P12 does not include a 3.5mm headphone jack, which may be inconvenient for users who prefer wired headphones without relying on adapters or Bluetooth connectivity. citeturn0search6 **Conclusion:** The Lenovo Tab P12 offers a compelling combination of a large, high-resolution display, solid performance, and accessory support, making it a suitable choice for users seeking a versatile tablet for entertainment and productivity. However, potential buyers should consider its limitations in battery life under intensive use, gaming performance, and the absence of certain features like a high refresh rate display and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Great tablet
I was looking for a tablet to replace my old Samsung A7 tab. This tablet blow's it away. Here are a few of the things that I was looking for that this tablet was above expectations. Start up: one of the things that really annoyed me about my Samsung tablet was how long it took to load after I pressed the start button. The Lenovo, 3 second hold and less than 20 seconds to start up. A big upgrade I my book for this. Every review I looked at no one ever mentions the difference in time some tablets take to load Next, performance: depending on your computer knowledge the reviews will give you all the technical jargon for comparisons to other tablet performance. For those not interested in all that, for me this tablet performs well above what I need. Documents load with no problems. I inserted an sd card with MP3 music, no need for a third party player unless you want one. Plays music an videos smoothly. Display: the display is very crisp and sharp compared to my old tablet This does have a slot for a micro SD card which is what I was looking for. Lastly, although it does not come with an external keyboard, the included case has a cutout for the s pen and doubles as a stand which is very nice. As for the pen, real easy to connect to the tablet anyway d just as responsive as my daughters apple pen on her air pad tablet. Lastly for some the 12.7 screen may be too big but I actually like it. It really is almost like having another portable laptop. All in all for the price, and performance this tablet is a great buy. I had been searching for something other than Samsung and Apple and this was a great alternative.
