I bought this box as an art supply storage unit. In this capacity it works fine, and yes the lid snaps into place as an earlier photo shows. It is clearly designed as a light duty storage unit. Also, knowing a little about fishing this is not a serious tackle box. If I showed up on the pier with this, the fish would most likely swim away laughing. The title in my opinion is misleading. It can not stand up to even the cheapest Plano. As an indoor light storage unit it will fit the bill. However, for a serious angler I would have to ask why are you even considering something like this.

Love this box, so much space and haven’t filled it up yet. Not gonna lie strength give it a 7 and quality give it an 8. No longer use my backpack tackle box from Bass Pro Shops. This tackle box is my go to box. Great price. Size of it is the right size , same as the Plano but less expensive. Storage size is unbelievable. Opens easily and closure is a tight seal and same for the top compartment. I have had 15 tackle boxes ranging from $30 to $100+ this guy beats them all. What I like is that when I open it up I can easily see what I want at a glance, don’t have to fumble through all the storage boxes just find what I’m looking for. It’s a waste of time. Recommend it to the max. By the way, gonna get each of my grandsons one of these for Christmas

This is just perfect. I was tired of scrounging through all the little packets of irrigation pieces to find what I wanted/ needed. Now all I have to do is open this Tackle Box up, and voila! Everything organized clearly and easily found. Ha! Not sure how long it will last, but for the cost, it is exactly what I needed, and I am very happy with it. The hinge on the outside came apart, but I will just be aware of it, to ensure it is properly attached, when I lock it together.

I had a giant metal tacklebox that was handed down to me. It had melted lures and was just a mess. I got this so I could have my own tacklebox that would be more lightweight and smaller so I could take just what I needed.I picked this one because it had multiple fold out trays and a large compartment at the bottom. It had more than enough room for my fishing needs and I added a hatchet and other camping tools!I ordered this one because it was green, I wanted something a bit different. And I was able to customize it easy with decals and stickers.It's already been on a few fishing trips and it's held up to storage, water, spilling, and bumping. You get a lot of the price in this tackle box!

Really liked this but after using twice last week the lid broke and out of return window of course.
