Very happy with Hydrapak
Got this to replace a busted original bladder because I really like my original pack and straps. I have always liked the fold over design, makes it much easier to fill and clean, and the quick connect hose is great. I use it a lot for both mountain biking and trail running, and have been thru several hoses, but this is the first new bladder I have had to purchase. I really like the Hydrapak design and have been very happy with mine over the years.

Great once modified
Love the hose connection - makes it really easy to clean the bladder when you can disconnect the hose. I’m not sure if I received a faulty bag but the sliding plastic closure wouldn’t stay on my bladder. However after adding a little duck tape, I was able to keep the closure on.

Had high hopes but hard as we tried the overcomplicated slip-on closing system just did not work....

The bladder is good but the on/off valve that plugs the drinking hose into the bladder is awful. The first valve broke a year after I bought it, just before a major race. I contacted hydrapak in a hurry for a replacement as I was told by friends it comes with a lifetime warranty. I was told that they would not send me a replacement for a product bought from Amazon. So my husband rushed and bought me a second hose. The same part failed in the same place within 4 months. I am not sure if others have experienced this issue. I am very disappointed and looking for solutions.

Every endurance athlete needs a Hydrapak!
This hydrapak 1.5L reservoir is the best. I also have a 2L hydrapak. Both are durable and easy to clean. Customer service is top notch too.

This is a great upgrade from my last reservoir
I don't even know what to say. This is a great upgrade from my last reservoir. SO. NICE. The bite valve is comfortable and doesn't require much of a pull when drinking. It's reversible and dishwasher safe which is a miracle. The tube detaches and doesn't leak. It's easy to open, fill, and close. Honestly it's the best reservoir I could ask for. If you're on the fence, just buy it. You won't regret it.
