Works great for holding golf shafts

I've built golf clubs and changed golf components for years so I always wanted a quick golf club clamp that makes my job a lot easier. I see this type of clamp used a lot in golf stores and I always wanted one for my use. I bought one from another vendor but a rivet broke and repairing it would be a pain so I bought this clamp instead. It looks like the same type and I'll keep my eye on the rivets.

Seems sturdy and works as I expect. Would want something "faster" if I was doing club work for more than just myself.

This clamp made changing grips much easier than a vise clamp with that rubber shaft "clamp". There may be more robust clamps out there but nothing near this price. Some reviewers stated it was flimsy. Not sure how they secured it, but it seems very sturdy. It can quickly adjust to clamp down on various shaft sizes. Overall excellent for someone changing grips once - twice a year.

Great value for money excellent quality functionality is perfect

I’m into golf and I do most of my own club making. Having a clamp like this saves time over using a vise and makes life easier. Similar shaft clamps cost twice as much and are identical. So if you install your own grips or need a clamp to hold things for hands-free operation, then I suggest giving this one a try.

I didn't like the fact that the clamp didn't close tightly enough to do what I had to do. Broke very easily without putting too much pressure.
