My favorite little contraption thus far! My kids have specified phone times so when their time is up for the day, they put their phone inside of the case. You can set the number of days, hours and minutes that you want the case to stay locked and it works wonderfully! I had to emergency unlock it one time and I absolutely love how you have to go online and get a code then enter it into the box in order to unlock it. Pressing some buttons on the box would be too easy for my kids to figure out. They can charge their phones through a small hole in the side that fits all 3 charging cords and when that case locks, it’s not coming back open until the time is up! The price was worth it and it’s very well made. The only thing that I wish was different would be if I could set the time that the box should open up instead of having to do the math for how many hours it would be until the box is allowed to unlock.

I bought this to hold car keys overnight. Holds 3 sets with key chains with room to spare, it matches the dimensions in the listing. Directions leave a little bit to be desired, but not too difficult for the majority of people. One feature I didn't see in the description is that it remembers the time period most recently used. After the first night (8 hour locked period) all I've had to do is push 3 buttons once each. I have not looked at the emergency override function, I'm deliberately avoiding it because the keys are locked up because of Ambien. The box is sturdy and would take a little bit to break into, but a hammer and no care for having it function afterwards would work in a pinch.

I prefer this over those cheap timer padlocks that are way too easy to break or cut through the steel cable securing whatever you’re locking up. This lock is much more secure; it can’t be easily broken into. You can extend the timer even after locking it and starting the countdown, but you can’t decrease it, which is actually a plus. I really like this feature because, in the past, I’ve set timers too short and found myself tempted to open them early once they unlocked! The lock also remembers the five most recent timer settings, making it quick and easy to re-lock for the same amount of time. The build quality seems solid, and you’d need to be pretty determined to break it open—better to call for an emergency unlock if you’re desperate rather than buy another box. Setup was a breeze, and surprisingly, it’s a bit larger than I expected—an added bonus. It would be great if you could lock it without setting a timer—just manually pressing the lock button when the display shows zeros would prevent the lid from flying open when you grab it, avoiding anything inside spilling out. I’m also not sure if you can clear previous timer settings from memory; I’ve tried pressing and holding various buttons, but no luck. Removing the batteries probably resets it, though, so it’s not a big issue. I’m curious about the two small windows to see inside; they seem like potential weak points or temptations for breaking in. Overall, this lock blows past the cheaper, easily breakable timer padlocks I’ve used before. It’s sturdy, reliable, and makes me think twice before risking a break-in. The thought of needing an unlock code or a new box helps keep my discipline in check until the timer does its job—clever design I highly recommend!

Wow. I can't say enough good things about the usefulness of this product. Not cheaply built. Of course, I have tools that could break it, but that's not the point. It's a great deterrent. I use it regularly for my phones, and like that you can set it for 15 minutes, or 12 months, and everything in between. Know this though. Once you set the lock timer, it gives you about 5 seconds to get your stuff in the box. If you go beyond that, the lid will lock in the "open" position, rendering the box useless for it's purpose, until the clock timer runs it's course. Cherrio!

If you're trying to kick a habit or an addiction, forget it! This company offers a service where you can pay $20 to get a code to unlock the box. That in fact defeats the entire purpose of kicking a habit or addiction. If you ask me, this company takes advantage of habitual people because they know they'll keep paying to have the box opened. I must have paid $100 by now to have it opened a handful of times. They quite literally could sell the product for a dollar knowing they'd make all their money back with their unlocking service. I recommend buying another product where you can't open it after it locks, unless you use a hammer and chisel.

I do not recommend this box if you're trying to lock up small things like pills, or cigarettes. The box looks and feels great, and there’s no issue using it operationally. However, when I purchased it, I didn’t realize there’s a 1.5 cm hole in the side of the box, intended to be used as a charger hole so you can charge a device while it’s locked inside. That’s fine if you have a phone or other largish device inside the box—there’s no way to pull it out through the hole. However, if you have, say, a bag of pills in the box, it would be fairly easy to stick some scissors in through the hole, cut the bag, and just shake it out. Similarly, even if you had a box of cigarettes inside you could probably figure out how to insert an implement like scissors or knife to cut open the pack, then use tweezers to pull out individual cigarettes pretty easily. So I feel the charging hole is a design flaw—or at least they should have made the hole significantly smaller.

Amazing product and good company. The only complaint I have is the hole on the side used to charge a phone. I stored money in the box and could take some out through the hole. But as a college student with ADHD, I can also store my phone in here. It helps me stay focused. One time, I had to open it, and I was struggling to unlock it. I called the company. They told me to break it, and they were kind enough to send me a new one. I would highly recommend this

Sturdy METAL box, easy to use. There are two slots that seems to be made of plastic that allows viewing of items in the box.

Excellent if you, like me, have no self control when it's time to study! Really helps to have my phone somewhere where I can't see it too. Simple to set up, and the safety net of two power sources a code if I desperately need to get in is good. Quality feels good, and its padded inside so I know my phone is safe even if i move it around

This is an excellent tool. If you have something in your home you cannot resist, then simply put it in this box and lock it away for a set period. As soon as it locks, your mind will stop negotiating and you are forced to wait.

Good quality product and work as expected

Brilliant!!! Fits my mac air 13 inch if you slot it in diagonally + my large Ipad and phone! Simple interface, satisfying build and design, all round great product, well thought out. Tried apps before but you can always bypass them. With this, I'd have to break the box to access it, which won't happen. Must have for tech free time in this modern world!

What they don’t tell you is they charge money if you want to unlock the box early. How much? You don’t know until they tell you.
