Dynatrap 1/2 Acre Outdoor Insect Trap

I’ve been using it for a bit now and have absolutely noticed a reduction in mosquitoes, gnats, and flying pests around the yard. It runs quietly, draws the bugs in, and does its thing without drawing attention—or making you jump every time it zaps something (because it doesn’t!). It's super easy to use, just plug it in. Cleaning is a breeze, just open the door at the bottom. I have mine hung on a shepherd hook, I just unplug it and empty it over a trash can. Color: The dark green is perfect—it blends seamlessly with trees, plants, or patio décor. Durability: The unit feels sturdy and well made—like it’s built to outlast a full season and then some. I had my first one for 10 years. Ran 24/7 in the summer and the motor started being wonky. I quickly ordered a new one! They’ve done some great improvements to the design making it easier to clean out the dead bugs. It works great!!

It works, finally! A big remover for the hot summer month. I have for sure noticed a decrease in mosquitoes. It does capture them well and hold them inside alive. The one thing I never thought of, though it catches them it also attracts more bugs because of the up light. I haven’t noticed an issue but I have noticed more bugs but they do get caught. It is very pretty to look at and you don’t hear a zapping every two seconds which is nice. I don’t love the push on/off button it’s a bit hard to press when it’s hanging. Wish it came with a remote or easier way to turn off, especially if it’s hanging a ways from the area. The cord too is also very short. We needed an extension cord which I don’t love because it doesn’t look great, and was an extra purchase. Other than this it’s amazing. I will be getting one for my parents home. I leave it on 24hrs and shut it off during storms. I would remember the bugs don’t die right away. They are alive inside and are only being caught. So discarding should be done at a distance from the location being used. If the fan or machine is turned off I am not sure if they can get out because the fan and flap is not functioning. I love the color green as it blends nicely. Thick black cord to plug in and easy instructions. Good brand and well known. I love that you can get a RP light if necessary which helps. It is a nice size and covers about 1/2 acre which is perfect for our Apt balcony. It was a great value and on sale which was nice. Thought was hard to tell the difference of the other models outside of the coverage of area.

I hosted a big event over the summer and the day before it happened as I moving things around to set ip the place, I realized that there were A LOT of mosquitoes!! Immediately ordered 2 and they arrived the next day. I set them up that morning, and turned them on. Within a couple of hours, I started noticing that I was not slapping my arms and legs trying to kill mosquitoes. Once the party was over, the stayed put and on for me next week (not intentionally) and enjoyed being ousted without the bugs. I turn them on and off as needed, and they work all the time. They’re sturdy and work well even after raining. A great investment !! Highly recommend it! I’ve had them for almost 4 months and they still work well.

We keep this in the yard at all times. It works really well. Every time we empty it, it is full of dead bugs. The "noseeums" are really bad here in Florida, and my husband is allergic to them. This seems to have solved the problem.

This product does what it says - it attracts the flying bugs - all of them. Yes it gets mosquitoes but in the few days I’ve had it, I see more crane flies, moths, and other non-targeted critters. I gave it 3 stars only because I see less mosquitoes and more is the other critters. I debated on keeping it because I don’t want to take out other beneficial insects, but want to give it more time to get more data points. Light seems to be a black light and the fan seems strong enough to home the non-strong fliers in. Will reevaluate in a month or two.

I just bought this to replace the last model (I threw the instructions away and could not — for the life of me — figure out how to change the bulb). The last one was EXCELLENT with killing Florida mosquitoes. Mosquitos are our state bird and it’s a BIG problem here. Further, I have 350 feet of garden beds — so I get a LOT of mosquitoes. It handled about 90% of them last summer. I’ve just installed the new unit (in the last hour) so I’m not sure if it’s effective as the last model — but I have little doubt. I want to point out the improvements: there’s a clip at the top to open the bulb case. So it’s EASY to replace. I have a LOT of doubt this bulb will last 20k hours (as they claim). The last model claimed 3k hours (but we will see - I have spare bulbs to hand when it’s time to change). The bottom also has a release clip to easily dump the basket. This is HUGE improvement. Finally: if you notice it’s not as effective, change the bulb. Even if the bulb is on, the UV can decline and stop attracting them. You can buy a 4 pack of bulbs on Amazon for like $15. It’s worth it. The product works WELL so long as you replace the bulb when it’s slowing down on efficacy.

100 € für nix gezahlt. Das Ding kann nur 110V Strom vertragen. Wir haben in Deutschland das doppelte. Das Gerät würde glatt explodieren wenn man es mit nem Adapter ansteckt. Leider war es ein Geschenk und wurde erst nach Ablauf der Rückgabefrist ausgepackt. Somit hab ich 100€ verbrannt. Sowas sollte auf Amazon Deutschland garnicht angeboten werden. Es gibt ja Geräte die beide Stromstärken können, aber dieses ist ausschließlich mit 110V zu betreiben.

Mi prima me la recomendó como una maravilla... la verdad es que funciona, pero no es tan buena como presumen...
