Took about 20 minutes to put it together.

This is a fantastic product. It is very well made and engineered. It only uses one size nut and bolt for the entire thing except the castors. I love it when people actually think about designing something! It is made of 1/8" thick steel and finished with a thick hearty powder coat. Where the boats lay is pre-covered in foam. See the first picture for what you get in the box.Unboxing will take 10 minutes.Pre-assembling will take around 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on how many times you re-configure the rack for your kyaks or canoes or a mixture of both.Final tightening of the fasteners will take about 15 minutes if you have power tools, or maybe 30 or more if you are forced to use the hand tools, that are actually very good. They are regular lower quality box wrenches, not the throw away stamped steel cone wrenches.1 hr to 1.5 hrs is required to assemble this product. This is really quick considering how awesomely stout this product is! It is really quite a work of art.You might end up only putting up 4 of the 6 pairs depending on how large your boats are. This is not necessarily a 6 boat rack, it could certainly hold 6, but if they are larger count on 4.I don't generally give 5 star reviews, but considering how well engineered this thing is for function, configure-ability, rapid assembly, and how perfectly the bolts fit - it really deserves it.

I've always kept my kayak just on the ground propped up against my building but this kayak rack makes me feel a little bougie; it looks so good. It's very easy to assemble and it's very sturdy. Easy to assemble, and sturdy. Lockable wheels work good, Wheel diameter rolls well on smooth surfaces.

It takes about 45-55 minutes to unpack and set up the rack while looking at the directions, provided, you don't move the arms around to different heights. I must . The powder coating is good, the nuts and bolts all fit together smoothly, and there is decent rubber padding attached to the arms that support the kayaks/paddleboards/etc.. The arms are 28.5 inches long including the 0.5 inches where the bungee cords attach, it could probably accept a kayak that is a few inches longer. The angle the arms are set at keep the kayak from sliding off. The instructions are decent, I included the photo of two pages.NOTE: I would loosely attach the nuts and bolts for the arms until the end and you definitely know where you want to set them on the vertical post (Pic.6).The kayak rack will be set on grass so I will place the stand on flat concrete stepper stones so that water does not enter the holes for the wheels. I live near to the water, but my apartment building does not have any sort of boat rack. I was looking at more expensive options when I saw this one, and boy has it exceeded my expectations!It is made of solid sturdy steel with padding in the correct places. It does take a while to put together, I suggest doing it outside of course for the space and so you don't need to move it. It is pretty heavy, but very sturdy and solid.. I have no concerns at all about loading it up with boats. It seems quite durable and after installing, I do expect it to hold up well to weather and time.Not much else to say, super happy with it, absolutely recommended.

Very nice kayak rack! It came very well packed and secured with all the proper pieces and hardware. It was very easy for my husband to assemble and took him no time to do so. The instructions that it came with were very clear and easy to read and understand. Super sturdy and durable. When we put our kayaks on this it does not sway around and they do not fall out whatsoever. They fit perfectly as they should. All the measurements match up with this as well so it fit perfectly in the spot we had for it. Definitely an amazing value for your money especially if you are a kayak lover and have quite a few options to choose from. Definitely an amazing piece and worth every penny for sure! 10/10

Had no issues assembling this thing, and it's been sitting outdoors holding a bunch of lumber that's heavier than any kayak for a month now with no issues. It really feels solid, I'm not worried about it at all. Haven't tried the casters but they look like good hardware. Solid storage rack.
