Trying Out Primo Portable Water Pump
10-12-22** 2nd REVIEW **Auto pump works great! I like the feature to press the on/off button ONCE to dispense water, fill up a 1-gallon bottle, and press once more to shut off. No need to continuously press it the entire time. Even more useful when I've had to fill up 3-4 bottles in one session.Water pressure is fine for me.Motor & whirling noise is minimal and I wasn't bothered by it.As for battery charge life, I could empty out 2 of the 5-gallon bottles in 5 days before the battery drained. I turned the tiny on/off switch at the back to OFF after each session. Other users have mentioned longer-lasting use per full charge (and the user manual states around 25 gallons on full charge), but in my case it was about 10 gallons. This was my first round with this dispenser and I charged it before putting it to use (even though user manual says unit comes pre-charged).10-04-22** THIS IS MY INITIAL EXPERIENCE AND REVIEW **I got the item in an adequate packed box. The rechargeable pump and all accessories were included and appeared new.Once I setup the pump to recharge battery (charging adapter & USB cable included), I washed the long plastic tube and the steel tube (spout) with warm water & soap.Once I rinsed the tubes, I connected them to the pump unit and placed the unit over a 5-gallon water bottle. Then I pressed the on/off switch at the top to start pumping water.Right away the unit turned on, making a gentle whirling sound, and dispense water from the bottle to a smaller empty 1-gallon bottle. I think it took less than 1 minute to fill the 1-gallon bottle. So initially, this product works as it should from the word go. I'm impressed with the cost, convenience (instead of manual water pumps) and portable size. I hope it lasts at least a couple of years if not more.At this point I recommend it.When I get the chance I'll post further impressions of this product as time goes on. Thanks for reading!

Just what I wanted
I bought 2 cheaper pumps and returned them the same day. They were loose on the jug, didn’t charge or lasted 10 minutes. Water just trickled out. This pump came in a professional box and the quality of manufacturing far superior to the 15 dollar ones. Update…… The unit failed to take a charge after 13 months. It has a 12 month warranty and they would not make an exception. It was perfect until it just stopped working. Also, it appears that the price has doubled to 39.00 bucks. I’m looking now for a different brand.

Excellent Product
I had a regular Primo dispenser for years and when it stopped working I decided I didn't need anything that fancy so I looked around for a simple dispenser. I bought two poorly made $10 dispensers, neither of which worked properly. I was happy when I found Primo's version. I was excited when it came. It is sleek, high quality and fits on the 5 gallon bottles like a dream. Unfortunately it didn't pump, but Primo replaced it immediately and the second one works like a dream. Easy to assemble, looks good and works beautifully.

WORKS PERFECTLY
I have had this pump for almost 2 years with zero issues. I barely recharge it once a month and I use it daily in a 2 person household for drinking water. Quick to recharge, never falters. I was worried when i saw some of the bad reviews but have never had any issues.

Quiet and easy to use with a long battery
Portable and easy to charge. Fits a 5 gallon jug perfectly. Quiet enough to use in the middle of the night and not wake everyone up. Has good water flow and doesn't leak out of the spout, however it will leak if the jug is tipped over as it doesn't seal. Great quality have used mine for the past 2 years. Battery lasts a long time. Take mine camping for 4 days at a time and it lasts the whole time and still has a charge

Good thought but it died after 2 cups of water.
Installation and instructions were clear - but the pump worked for exactly 2 cups worth of water. I thought perhaps it wasn't 'fully charged' as advertised, so I used the included charger - it kept blinking blue. The pump stopped functioning completely so I returned it. Nice idea, when it did work it was pretty quiet, I'm disappointed that it died at the start of the camping trip I bought it for.

Two years and still going strong
We love this thing! We were wanting to up our water consumption but didn’t want the hassle of a full contained cooling dispenser (and our city water often tastes like dirt even when filtered.) This was the perfect compromise. I set it up in a corner and use a plant stand to raise the bottles to a usable level.Used daily for two years, dispensing at minimum a gallon a day between my spouse and I. We’ve taken it on vacation with big groups as well - great for cutting down on all the rogue half empty bottles of water when traveling with a group. (Who doesn’t have their own Stanley or something like it these days?!)Typically charge it about every 3-4 weeks. If /when it dies, I will happily seek it out this exact one and purchase it again.
