This book offers a history of the Moors in Spain while having a travelogue feel that describes what Alhambra is like, how it changed over time, and what kind of buildings are still there.

This may seem a bit odd, but this book suffered from a lack of good pictures. Dryly written and flat.

Just visited the Alhambra after reading this. It gave Mo some familiarity but not a Very exciting read. But then again not a terribly exciting subject

Enjoyed this book. Gave me a background of the history of Alhambra and many reference guides to continue learning.

It was informative on the history. Black and white (no color photos of Alhambra) pages throughout.
