I was charged with finding realistic looking food for a musical I was in at a local theater. I took a chance on this, and found it to be just what we needed. I was told that from the audience, the food looked like it was actually real. I am now using it during my drama classes. Well worth the money.

I REALLY LOVED the storage box.

This food is OK, but smells AWFUL!!! The plastic it is made of REEKS like toxic fumes! YUCK!!!! :-(I actually bought this set specifically for the bacon and it doesn't look as much like the picture because the "white" part of the bacon is actually clear, so I believe the bacon looks different in the picture because it's laying on a white background. :-/Over all, this is just more plastic to one day add to our landfills... Ugh. I guess they sell these sets for learning purposes or something... I purchased it to add to my son's play kitchen we are giving him for Christmas. They food is MUCH larger than the dish set which accommodates his play kitchen.I also don't like how the "milk" and "OJ" glass can't be emptied out... The plastic piece inside of them is permanent. Oh... and the pad of butter you see on the pancake/toast/etc is a separate plastic piece all on it's own, which sits on whatever you want it to. It doesn't seem to have a great way to stay on the food you put it on... no locking-in-place type of design. I see it getting lost within the first week of playtime, once my son opens it! :-/

Wish the waffles were larger and more lifesize like the other items. And the sausage and waffles are hallow cheap plastic

I bought this set of breakfast foods for my "Bear Breakfast Cafe" Center. It could not have been more perfect. My students are 4 year olds with various disabilities and it was enjoyed by all. The waffles and the cups of "milk" and "juice" we're the students' favorites.Personally, my favorite part was the reusable container with a lid! It was easy to pack this treasure up and store it for the next school year. I would buy this again.

Excellent food set. Realistic and high quality. Even the storage container to hold the food is nice quality. This set will outlast our little chef's use and will be handed down to the next cook!

I purchased 3 other complete play food sets from two different companies and was very pleased with the realistic size and quantity of their products, however, they did not have the breakfast items I was needing, so I purchased this set to go along with them. Over half of this set were items I would expect to find at a dollar store and not the high quality I was expecting from Kaplan. (See items in photo) They were such cheap plastic that I wouldn’t have even purchased them for a couple of dollars. I am highly disappointed with this product and would not recommend it to anyone, it is an absolute waste of money! Unfortunately, my husband threw away the box this came in or I would have returned. Don’t waste your money.
