this is not only the best brush Ive ever used but quite possibly the best ...
I am a Black woman with curly (not so coarse) hair that tangles when I wash my hair. Ive used the bamboo brush in the recent past but they kept breaking or loosing the spikes. I came across this brush while looking for hair growth products. Let me tell you........this is not only the best brush Ive ever used but quite possibly the best product Ive every purchased. It runs through my curly kinky hair almost like melted butter. I section off the hair with a comb, then use the brush from the roots to the ends. I start the brushing in the middle of the hair shaft towards the ends, then I go to the scalp and make my way all the way through to the end of the hair. The crazy thing is that using this brush almost makes me look forward to washing may hair again. Now, granted Ive only used this brash once: but I seriously feel like it does the job that it claims. My braids are usually buckled and gathered and not smooth. But after using this brush, my braids are smooth because the hairs are nicely smoothed out and separated after the brushing. Loving this brush. Thats all I can say. Like the fact that the spikes do not have little bulbs at the end tips like most brushes. i think thats why I decided to actually try this brush. I also like the handle fits real nicely in my palm. Theres another bush similar but the handle is shaped like a half moon and one comment stated that it didn't grip properly. The grip on this brush is just fine. Anyway, get it. The price is worth the test run. As long as it holds up and doesn't break down on me or loose any spikes over time, this product has a customer for good.

It really is magic
I have very thick, wavy hair that gets tangled easily especially in a bun. I normally dread combing it out and was very skeptical but this worked! I’m tender headed and tend to “shed” a lot and this was so gentle that it didn’t bother me and I didn’t notice a lot of hair pulled out. The bristles are soft so they don’t tear through your hair but seem well made so they will stand up to lots of use.

A must for tenderheaded kids!!
I am the proud parent of the most tender headed child this earth has ever seen - who also insists on growing her hair as long as possible. Taking into consideration the fact that she is 6 years old, and as active as they come, this inevitably leads to nasty, stubborn tangles. Trying to brush the knots out, no matter how much detangler we use, is a 30 minute ordeal involving crying, screaming, running away and hiding (on her part......well mostly lol). So I read the great reviews with skepticism... this is definitely too good to be true, not MY child right? Wrong. The package arrived this morning and I opened it, still doubtful that it could be as good as the reviews said. I called my daughter into the room and received a groan and dramatic eye roll when I told her I was going to brush her hair. But guess what, she didn't even make a face the whole time! She told me she never wants me to use another brush to brush her hair ever again. Definitely lives up to the hype. If youre thinking about buying one but not sure, take it from me.(You're probably thinking by now that I work for the company that sells them or something... nope. Just honestly love this brush that much!)

Handle grips well even in shower, but several defects on the bristles.
The bristles have several defects (excess plastic on the tips, some were already bent). I use this in the shower on wet hair with conditioner in it, so the fact that this doesn’t have anywhere to drain from the back is a bit problematic for rinsing the brush. Other than that, it works well on my fine 3a/3b hair. The handle is grippy enough to use in the shower even with conditioner all over the place, which is the primary reason I purchased this option. I already had one of the curved, short handled “wet brush” versions and that was impossible to hold in the shower, let alone with conditioner. This is much better, but I will likely keep an eye out for a straight handled version with an open back for better cleaning.

Most painless brush I’ve ever used!
I have natural thick 3b/c curly hair and always had difficulty taming it in my 30+ years. I know it’s not recommended to brush my hair type but being a busy mom I don’t have the time to comb or finger through my hair with each wash mostly because it’s painful. I’ve always used similar hairbrush size when showering to detangle quickly while conditioning but again, the knots were always a pain regardless. I used to go through 2 to 3 brushs a year as the rubber bristle part would always come out no matter the quality of the brush. I did my own research and browsed through reviews, and decided to give this one a try. I’ve never been so impressed! The brush is very light weight, bristles seemingly hard but actually maneuver with your hair with its multi leveled lengths. It also doesn’t “tear” as much hair out. I’ve recommended this to so many friends and family members, and I will continue to do so!

YASSS!! This is for naturalistas!!! 3C & 4A approved!!
My denman brush died and my girls were always complaining about it anyway. I couldnt find many reviews about this particular brush, but there is at least 1 youtube review and it was positive. I skimmed the amazon reviews and saw some natural ladies giving it a thumbs up, so I went for it. IM SO GLAD I DID!!! This brush is life. I was worried about the short bristles, but somehow it works. My twins have 2 completely different textures. One has 3C and the other 4A. It literally glided through like butter. My most tenderheaded child who cries from taking hair ties out said, "I cant feel anything" BOOM! Buy this brush. Get it and you wont regret it. My detangling time was cut in half-- heck more than half. Everyone needs this brush- Christmas, birthday, teacher appreciation LOL!!!

Don't go another day with painful tangles
I have no idea how or why this brush works, but it's INCREDIBLE. I have very kinky, curly hair especially the under-layers in the back. So much so that it's pretty much impossible to even get my fingers through it, but this brush went right through it like it wasn't even tangled! Of course, you start at the bottom and work your way up so I thought it was gonna hurt when I got to the under curls on my neck but it didn't!....I mean it's actually kinda weird cause the brush is super light and feels like cheap plastic and the bristles are just rubber-like and cheap looking too, but it must be made outta pure KINDNESS...and if you're a person with long, very curly hair you know what I mean lol
