Essential accessory for Apple Vision Pro if you need to use it for many hours
Apple Vision Pro is an amazing AR device - wide field of view, accurate motion/room tracking, super high resolution displays, but it is a bit heavy and hard to wear for extended time. This becomes a problem if you need to wear Apple Vision Pro for many hours, e.g. if you use it for work or software development. CMA1 head mounting system radically improves this - it helps to redistribute weight, removing stress Apple Vision Pro puts on your face, allowing using Vision Pro for many hours with no impact. When wearing Vision Pro with CMA1, you can even remove Light Seal, giving your face air breeze, making experience even better (suitable for a darker room). In a way, CMA1 makes wearing Vision Pro closer to HoloLens approach, which (in my opinion) is much more comfortable to wear, while giving you all of the benefits and technical advancements of the Vision Pro. Value for money is good - Apple Vision Pro costs over $3K, paying additional $69 for CMA1 to improve wearing comfort is certainly worthwhile. ... The only improvement I would suggest to CMA1 designers - add some weight to the back side of the CMA1, e.g. by mounting Vision Pro battery there - it would improve Vision Pro weight distribution and can make whole system more balanced when wearing.

Definitely the best out there
I have tried every single comfort mod you can find. I truly don’t think there is a mod I haven’t tried, if you can find it, I’ve probably tried it… and I found that not a single one of them actually solved the problem I was having with comfort, and none could comfortably allow me to use the vision pro without the light shield. This is the one and only mod I have found that not only allows me to go without the face shield, but is actually just overall more comfortable and most importantly, stable when on my head. The build quality seems great, and it is extremely lightweight. The arms that connect to the Vision Pro are actually slightly malleable which ensures that the audio pods on the vision pro won’t get damaged when you apply or remove the mod, which takes only 10 seconds to do and requires no tools (another plus compared to many other mods which require you to remove the audio pods with a sim remover tool). My only gripe is that the dial can sometimes slip when tightening the headset and doesn’t feel as high quality as I would have expected, but really I am nitpicking with that because everything else about it is pretty great. Would highly recommend this over every single other mod. Felt kind of expensive at first but one I tried it, very much worth it as there’s no other mod out there right now like it. If there was anything I would’ve like to see on this given the high price would be magnetic attachments for the replaceable pads instead of Velcro. I feel that would’ve helped match the style of the stock light shield and face cushion. The Velcro is somewhat frustrating to deal with but once you have it set you probably won’t be removing the pads too frequently anyways.

Great Headset for Apple Vision Pro - All Day Use
This headset is amazing and I've had great results with it. It removes all discomfort/pressure and I am able to wear the Vision Pro all day. The unique mechanism they use allows the user to adjust the pressure/fit via a circular nob at the back. There are different sets of cushions on the front and back to provide different levels of comfort which I also liked. It allows me to remove pressure from the light seal. The light seal can also be removed for an enhanced experience and field of view. The install is easy and they provide a video on how to install it. I also found their support team to be super helpful in answering all my questions and providing guidance as needed. I highly recommend this headset for the Vision Pro. Very happy with this purchase!

Memory Foam Gel Cushion For The Back
The Globular Cluster CMA1 proved to be superior to all other alternatives when balancing the Vision Pro. This product's main selling point exists in its thick back support which enables weight distribution across the headset thus offering better comfort along with reduced heavy forefeel. The comfort improvement becomes apparent when using this device for extended periods since it disperses weight better thus minimizing facial and neck strain. The open face design stands out because it enables improved ventilation when wearing this headset for longer periods of time. Its open-face design makes the headset feel both weightless and breathable thus benefitting users who need it for extended gameplay. A new case which matches CMA1 should be your purchase for maximum compatibility. The extra protective case serves as both a security system and a convenience feature to safeguard everything inside it. Users can enhance their overall experience by using the combination of Vision Pro and this new case regardless of their professional or recreational activities. This equipment stands as a top recommendation before anyone chooses to enhance the breathability along with comfort and stability features of their Vision Pro.

Doesn't stay in place or secure the headset properly
The back pad isn't able to keep pressure on the back of my head properly so the headset is never quite secure or comfortable. Headset wobbles and feels on the edge of falling off or sliding up out of position constantly. It feels like the back pad slides up more freely then intended due to my long hair. I can feel it pulling upward bunching my hair upward, giving the back a weird sliding range. The hair bunching isn't painful, just annoying. The result is a weirdly loose fit even with the back pad tightened to uncomfortable levels. The original straps secure the headset much better, even if it does put way more pressure on the face. I will say that this strap is generally more comfortable then the original strap and does successful pull most of the pressure off the front of my face. I have tried wearing with and without the face plate but neither really work. w/o the face plate does not work at all for me, the headset is not at all secured and the back plate slowly slides up until the headset is just fully on my nose putting the screens at a weird angle.

Decided Improvement in Comfort Wearing the Vision Pro
This device is easy to install on the Vision Pro and provides a wide distribution of the weight of the device across the top of the head. I have been able to comfortably wear the VP for up to 2 hr whereas 30 minutes with any of Apple’s bands was my limit. The device comes with a variety of head pads etc. that can replace all of the Apple equipment. The construction of the device is high quality. I have only two complaints. The large button for tightening on the rear of the device is unwieldy and uncomfortable when using the VP in a high back chair. My second complaint is that it took three weeks to get the device here from China. Overall I highly recommend this product.

Failed from attachment points, offered a full refund and reinforced version
Edit: The seller reached out to mention that they have addressed the issue with extra reinforcements to the connection points since I've purchased my kit 10 months ago, and offered a full refund of the original price. I will be purchasing the updated version that is currently available. Great customer service. Original review: I really wanted to love this. I used it for about 10 months and it offered a noticeable improvement in comfort during my weekly Vision Pro sessions (about an hour per week). Unfortunately, it has now completely failed at the most critical structural points. The left attachment arm sheared off from the middle while in use, sitting. As a result, all the strain shifted to the right arm, which chipped and is now on the verge of breaking as well (see attached photos for close-ups). Neither Vision Pro nor the head gear was impacted or hit in any way; this happened under light, careful use. It appears to be a fundamental design or material flaw; it's made out of very soft plastic all around, and while it is a fine choice for the rest of the head gear, it's a particularly bad material choice for structural and weight-carrying connection points. These points should have been substantially reinforced or at least made out of thicker plastic at the very least. There’s no visible warranty or support information that I could find, which is especially disappointing given the reputation of this head gear. If durability is important to you, I’d recommend steering clear unless the there's an updated version to handle the clear structural issues. Or alternatively, set aside some spare cash for having to buy a new one when the previous one breaks.

Beta need further dev.
Fits as described, removes pressure from cheeks, but, forehead mount not great over time. Tried the various pads, the thickest is way too heavy. One issue of the avp is the weight, so why add to its overall weight? The balance point is just behind the main avp unit. Why Apple and others are pursuing the same mounting concept baffles me. Why reviewers talk about messed up hair - please. I would make a skeletonized helmet with a central double hinged mount to allow vertical and horizontal movement create the light seal - no face pressure, side adjustable back strap .This unit feels and looks a bit cheap - its overpriced. gave it a good crack now it’s in a box. Apple should have ditched the audio strips to save weight and provided AirPods.
