Fun game for kids learning sight words, i recommend for the price and can be a fun way to learn for some.

This slam game is easy to use and is great value for the money. My 5 year old nephew really enjoys it and takes it in the car to keep him busy. It is very durable and has, so far, lasted through mamy drops without damage. A very functional, educational toy.

Love this game/play concept! Helping reinforce my daughter’s knowledge of letter sounds. Also will help in the future once we advance to words. I really appreciate this toy!!

Fun game and my 1st grade students enjoy it a lot. Only one major flaw -- the voice is computer-generated which means it pronounces some sight words incorrectly. Not ideal when it's entire purpose is helping developing readers match word recognition/correct spelling with a spoken word. Other than that, I wish each round of play was longer than ~10 words. The kids like to play it whole class where they do a word and pass it, but we have to frequenly re-start the game because it ends rather quickly. I would change it to where it played until a set number of mistakes have been made, then re-set. I also wish it had a third level of some higher level words. The button is there to allow for 3 levels when choosing a level, but it only offers 2 levels and cycles through the same set of words fairly quickly. The levels and words provided are great for pre-K, Kinder, and beginning of 1st grade (or a struggling 1st/2nd grader), but not very challenging by middle to end of 1st grade for most students.

Editing this reviews I was sent a broken product but educational insights quickly fixed it once I emailed them. They sent us a brand new product and it arrived quickly within a few days. Customer service was really kind and helpful. This is an awesome toy. I cannot recommend it enough. My four year old just started kindergarten and we were behind practicing her sight words. She’s already applying this knowledge to her homework and reading. And it’s fun! 10000000% recommend.

Cute concept, but they did not use “sight words.” My daughter is trying to figure out tricky words like could, both, there…she is a beginner and I really wanted traditional site words. It does have two levels, but I think they are both equally hard. It is colorful, good size for travel, sound quality is fine, medium durability. She did have fun, but I noticed since there is not much difference between the levels, she just tries out buttons when it is a hard word and she is frustrated. It does have a bit of a lag if she pushes the buttons too quickly, so it does not function quickly. Item is “okay,” for the price but I don’t think she will learn much from it.

Got this for my 5 year old & he likes playing it. Great educational game. Good durable quality.

Love this toy/teaching aid. Our kid thinks its a toy but its helping them learn. They enjoy the "games" the lights and buttons.

Es un jueguecito básico con un par de juegos de inglés y varios niveles para ayudar a reforzar vocabulario típico. Podéis observar un poco el funcionamiento en el vídeo que adjunto. Destaco las principales características del producto que considero importantes: - Tiene 2 modos de juego, uno donde pones la letra que falta, y el otro donde pones la palabra que ha dicho. En los dos se practica el listening, ya que la máquina dice la palabra, y eliges entre las tres opciones. Cada juego tiene dos niveles, fácil y avanzado, con bastantes palabras en cada uno. - Va con 3 pilas AAA y tienen pinta de durar bastante, porque las pantallitas monocromáticas no creo que gasten mucha energía. - Se entiende bien, buena pronunciación, y el sonido es correcto, teniendo en cuenta el mini-altavoz que tiene. Perfectamente válido para lo que es. A modo resumen, buen regalo interactivo y muy entretenido para los peques, y que les va a ayudar a coger oído mediante un juego, algo que siempre viene bien para reforzar el inglés.

Ive used this in schools has 2 levels and usdd at home with my children too great way to engage kids while learning some sight words.theres letter slam or word slam.letter slam you have to press the missing letter and word slam you have to slam the spoken words both modes have level 1 & 2

A sure good way to help the little ones recognise the letter ,words ,follow instructions ,etc. One of my son is 4 and he will start school in September and this is really helpful to exercise his reading ,alphabet,number and all these with a fun game. Loads of different activities ,pretty smart and accurate. Clear talking too ,easy to understand. Good one !
