No substitutions: --- I purchased the Waterdrop N1-CF Water Filter replacement for my N1 countertop reverse osmosis system, and overall I’m satisfied with it. The filter itself is OEM, well made, and fits the water filter perfectly with no issues. Installation was straightforward. I initially worried about the right way to change it, but the CF filter came with instructions, so it was a breeze. One thing I noticed is that the unit seems to have a built-in clock, since it went red on the “change filter” indicator exactly at the six-month mark. Suspicious to say the least. That said, this review is for the filter, not the filtering system. It arrived as expected, and Amazon delivery was precise as usual. The price on Amazon was the best compared to online or local options, which is exactly why Amazon is so successful. Too bad it’s made in China. You’d figure today the USA can make a filter, or at least source it from a friendly nation. Performance-wise, no complaints. Water tests fine, and imaginary or not, we are drinking clean water. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase and with the water filtration system.

Works just like new after 6 months of daily use (2 adults 1 toddler). Nothing has broken and water still taste great. We mostly use the manual volume setting and dispense into a pitcher so we have instant availability of large volumes of water.

I like my N1 countertop RO machine, I live in an apartment and can't install an under sink model. The water where I live is terrible. This machine has been a blessing. Their customer service has been excellent, something that is rare these days. I recommended Waterdrop to some of my friends and they are very satisfied also.
