HIT ME HARD AND SOFT (Amazon Exclusive Red Vinyl)

Great album. Just be aware that the color may vary. I thought we were getting what was pictured, red with some black mixed in. I received a solid red, semi-transparent vinyl. It’s fine, but I liked the look better of the version that pictured. Reading the description in more detail, it sounds like every disc may be different in color or pattern.

Great album

Love the album, some of her best work. I ordered the Amazon exclusive vinyl pressing because Of how good it looked. You can imagine my disappointment when receiving it and opening that it’s plain red and not translucent with black marbling like the mock up. It is recycled material to be eco-friendly but it looks Nowhere near the mock up and Many people are experiencing the same thing. My pressing even had an object that looks like wood pressed into the vinyl I didn’t even bother putting it on my record player in case it would mess up my needle. Horrible quality controller btw. I ordered a replacement and it looked the exact same But I am returning it for it being misleading. Save yourself some time and don’t order the Amazon variant.

The color doesn't match at all. I understand that they aren't meant to look exactly like the mock up, but come on, they didn't even try to add any black in it. The reason I even went with the Amazon version was because of what it looked like and how it matched the vibe of the album. Ironically it came out looking like a lame Target variant while the actual Target variant (nice yellow) came out looking better. As for the sound, this "Eco-Mix" thing adds to the scammy feel. Doesn't sound great. Cleaned it as I do all my records when I get them and none sound like this one did, so I don't buy the "just clean it" angle. Sounds muffled like it doesn't get loud. I did appreciate that it had an outer sleeve already and that it is clear.

had to give 5 stars because hmhas is 10000/10 but this came in the wrong color ???? the product listing shows black and red marble and it’s clear red. 😐 i would’ve gotten a different one lol

Everyone complaining theirs isn’t the same red as the photo, meanwhile I got an ELECTRIC BLUE copy?!?! Came with the red eco-mix vinyl Amazon exclusive hype sticker, but the record looks closer to the signature copy, maybe even lighter and more electric blue. *After a thorough cleaning* it sounds great! Yes, the master is quiet, but through my system (X8, Starling, TubeBox DS3, SF Line1, 2x Aegir, DWX Supreme, Micro3000), it is plenty dynamic, detailed and defined. No, it’s not as bassy as When We All Fall Asleep, but it’s a very different musical style. Side A at least, Side B bumps like you’re looking for. Don’t forget to clean and listen all the way through before reviewing fam… ;)

I didn't write an opinion when I first got it because I was so disappointed that I received a plain red almost orange vinyl. I didn't have a record player at the time, so it went on my shelf for months. Now that I got one and wanted to test it out, I said... well, if it doesn’t work great, I better use a vinyl I don’t love so much. So I pulled out this one, and to my surprise, I noticed it was different somehow. The red is less saturated, and omg I see some marbled finish now? I don't quite understand how it happened or why it would take this long to settle to the right color. Just weird. But hey, maybe it's time to check yours!

Llegó totalmente de color rojo, hubiera estado más bonito si saliera como el de la foto pero está bien, el precio es adecuado. El disco es genial!

En plus de l’esthétique magnifique du vinyle, l’album est incroyable, aucun titre n’est à jeter, on va de surprise en surprise tout au long de l’album. Les transitions se font parfaitement, un album à écouter dans l’ordre pour un merveilleux voyage dans l’univers de BILLIE et son frère Finneas.

The album is amazing, great melodies. It’s everything you could expect from Billie and Finneas. the packaging is very well done and the Amazon exclusive Red Marbled edition is gorgeous. It came as advertised. The only downfall would be the pressing of the album, it has a lot of noise and it has very low volume, you have to turn it up way passed the usual volume range, but when you turn it up loud it sounds powerful and has lots of bass.

I had bought this for my sister and it came absolutely perfect, the color was marbled and darker like it’s supposed to be and sounds great!
