What's in the Box?Inside this brightly coloured gift pack you'll find four recipe packs with sachets of carefully measured spices to ensure every element of each meal is a success.Balinese Pork - A mildly spicy, sate-style (satay) dish with strips of pork cooked on skewers and coated in a peanut sauce. The Spicery suggest serving it with a warm salad of green beans, bean sprouts and cucumber, and the pack also includes a sachet of spice to make Kecap Manis - a sweet chilli soy sauce. Prep time 10 minutes; cooking time 45 minutes. Jerk Chicken with rice and peas - The Jamaican favourite, served in the traditional way. The pack includes a sachet of fiery, ground habanero chillies to make a hot pepper sauce accompaniment. Prep time 5 minutes; cooking time 30 minutes. Nigerian Beef Suya - Often served as a kebab, this is a very popular, moderately spiced street food, with beef strips marinated in a dry rub of toasted peanuts and spices before cooking. The Spicery suggest serving the kebabs with rice and the included chilli sauce. Prep time 20 minutes; cooking time 30 minutes. Urfa Kebabs with a warm sumac salad - Made with minced meat (beef or lamb), these are Turkish-style, hand-shaped kebabs, with warming spices and Urfa chilli flakes, which are much more delicately flavoured than standard chillies. The Spicery suggest serving these patty-shaped kebabs with pitta bread and their deliciously minty yoghurt sauce (spice sachet included). Prep time 20 minutes; cooking time 30 minutes. All four of the recipes in this kit can be cooked on a conventional cooker if the weather turns against you - but, of course, the meaty bits have been specially selected because they're best cooked street-market-style, on an open barbecue.105g - 4 recipes.
