A great buy!
These pans are AMAZING!! They are very durable, great quality, so easy to clean. I get an even cook. They look very nice. I love all the lids that they come with. And also love that they stack nicely to save space.

Best nonstick, college-kid tested, I bought 2 sets
I don't like nonstick pans because they don't last very long before the surface is all "stick," and I never trust the chemicals they might put into your food. But some things are hard to cook on my trusty stainless steel pans without gobs of oil. So I've been looking for semi-trusty nonstick fry pans for years. Most have failed me until I was gifted one of these pans, which cleans up like a dream and almost never requires oil. When I wanted another size of the same pan, I bought 3 different knockoff brands of "copper"-- each lasted for a couple of months before warping and beginning to stick. So I bought this set for my 20yo son's college apartment. He's an inexperienced cook, so I wanted him to have nonstick, and he requested "lids that fit," unlike my menagerie of pans. After 6 months, he says the set still works great. And I was due for an upgrade on several of mine, so I bought another set during a sale. These are even better than the first Gotham pan from years ago. They have heavy bottoms so they sit flat and cook evenly on my glass-top electric stove. The variety of sizes of pots and pans are perfect for my needs, and there's even a deep saucepan. The glass lids fit tightly and are interchangeable from pot to pan, so you don't have to juggle too many lids. And there's no chemical taste or smell like many nonstick pans emit. I haven't had them long, so I can't vouch for the "scratch resistant" aspect. But I did note that the item description says you can use metal utensils, but the paperwork that comes with the set says not to use sharp objects, so I'm afraid to use a metal spoon or spatula. Overall, for the price and versatility alone, these pans are worth owning. But the quality so far surpasses my expectations. If they start giving out in the next few months, I'll update.

Good for low to mid heat cooking
Love the set. Works as should. I did notice they are not for high heat cooking and I am seeing some nicks on outside of pans

Good Buy… Well Maybe
Update: Although I’ve kept the set, which I still enjoy, the flat frying pan lost its non-stick quality fairly soon after purchase. The others seem to be okay but that is the one we use the most, making this set slightly disappointing. Also, machine washing this sets fades it after just one cycle. Original message - I’m always skeptical of online purchases because you don’t know what will arrive. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened this box. The cookware is stunning, nothing stuck to the pans when I cooked my first meal, and it is all lightweight. I bought this set because it is free of toxic chemicals. I can see the risk of scratching the cookware, so I will have to be a little more careful with these than the last set I owned. Also, no dishwasher for these pots and pans as it can cause scratching and fading of the colors. I don’t write a lot of reviews but this one I felt earned the 5 stars and review.

A perfect set: If you're looking for something that will last a year or less...
Initially these were good pots and pans. They look to be high quality and are non-stick, you don't even have to add oil. They look like they were going to be lasting for a very long time. But that's not the case. After about 8 months of using the small 8-in skillet / pan, about 5 days a week to cook an egg everything started sticking. I did nothing out of the ordinary besides cooking egg on the pan. I did not use any caustic chemicals to clean it (in matter of fact I use biodegradable dish soap) or have The heat on very high (I mostly cooking sunny sideups on low heat). When you're looking for a good quality set of pots and pans and you're willing to spend some money I would go with a brand that , at the very least, lives up to or past their warranty (which in this case is 10 years). I did contact them. And yes, They say they have a 10-year warranty. But let me explain what this means. It's simple terms, if something is to happen to one of the pots or pans within the first 10 years of owning it, first you have to find a box to ship it back in and pay for the shipping to their facilities (That will cost you somewhere between 15 and $20) and second send them a $10 check to pay for the shipping back to you. This type of 10-year warranty to me seems to be a scam. It's not like I've had the set for 5 years or even 3 years, I've only had it for 8 months. I have seen other companies That require you to send a check and if the product is deemed to be a manufacturers defect they chop the check up. but That's not the case with Gotham steel. The take away: Gotham steel's pans are not meant to last 10 years; they relying on The fact that nobody's going to spend between 25 and $35 to send and receive 1 new pot or pan. It's that simple.

Too lightweight foods sticks and stains
The pots and pans or nice looking but very lightweight! After only 8 months everything sticks even using olive oil or butter! And yes the pans stain ! Pots are okay just lightweight but pans not very useful to cook with! Good luck with being pretty but not usable!!
