This tool cut my doors perfectly. Sure it needs a little skill and a fast drill so take care on the first mortise.further mortise holes will be quicker and better. Very pleased with this.

I get with missing parts

This is terrible product and dangerous, buy a Souber mortise jig instead. The instructions cover the very basics in poorly written english. The youtube product videos are not accessed from the manufacturers website, they are available on youtube and via Amazon, without commentary. Maybe the manufacturer should provide fully annotated instructions and a voiceover to the video. Also, the carry case includes a smaller second jig whose purpose is not explained and there are no youtube/videos to explain what it's for. The drill shaft maximum drill depth is set using a ring that is locked by a butterfly screw, make sure you keep your hands away from that when the drill is spinning!.

Edit: The wobbling came from those silicone dust covers for the sliders. They prevent metal to metal contact. If you trim the tops off with a utility knife then the tool performs wonderfully. Also set your drill to the highest speed and keep in mind you want to remove material on downward passes as the bit likes to kick going upward. I've provided pictures of both the satisfactory and unsatisfactory mortise. Original review The mortise started off nice, but the deeper you get the more the bit can move left and right. The drill shaft and it's holder need to be longer so that it is still stable at deeper depths. Gonna have to fix these holes in my door with epoxy.

I bought this jig to mortise the lockset in a very expensive, new mahogany storm door. There were three major problems that led me to abandon this solution. The bits come in only three sizes and are metric. The smallest was too big for my job. The bits have a 10mm thread that fits the drive shaft, but I couldn't find anything with the right cutting diameter that also had a 10mm attachment thread. In my test cut, the cutter head wandered like a drunken sailor, even though the jig seemed to offer premium stability and precision. One test showed the failures were unconquerable. See photo.
