The bed is good quality and provides the functionality we needed. The matress is not "moderate firmness". It is actually extremely hard. The biggest issue is the shipping and communication from seller. It was over a week late, and considering it was a needed piece of medical equipment, accurate delivery information was crucial. We purchased from this seller based on the delivery date. This caused a huge problem. The seller was not very eager to help with updates. Just empty promise after empty promise. When Pilot Freight became aware of the issue, they were far more willing to reach out with updates than the seller. The seller lied to me. After it was several days late, the seller promised me they had spoken to the carrier and it was guaranteed to be delivered 5 days ago (which was already well past the latest promise date). I questioned the "promise" because the carrier had just told me that morning it was on it was on it's way to Ohio from Georgia. So no way was it going to be in South Carolina that same day. And of course when I questioned the information, the seller stopped communicating with me at all. Just awful customer service. Long story short good quality bed, hard mattress and terrible experience from the seller!

this is a great quality bed. It is extremly well built it's heavier than a dead horse. I think the quality exceeds most beds I see in hospitals. I am very impressed with all the positioning, comfort and safety features. I would definitely purchase again

Bed works great mechanically and it was exactly what was needed but there is nothing soft about the mattress; it’s hard! First comment from the person it was purchased for: this thing is hard! We put both foam and a gel mattress pad on it to make it tolerable. Shipping was also several days later than shown on Amazon which did cause some issues.

The cover on the mattress needs too be removed and replaced with softer material. Right now it is so hard could consider anything inside the shell like a turtleThe guard rails are not high enough to slide a lift under the bedSo far I have not slept in it mattress does not allow for all night long sleep going to find a mattress that feels good not a park bench

I’m extremely disappointed with this hospital bed. The frame is not sturdy at all—the tubes are very thin and feel flimsy, making the entire bed unstable. To make matters worse, the dimensions are completely inaccurate. It’s way smaller than what was advertised on the website, and it doesn’t meet my needs at all. I expected a much sturdier and larger bed based on the product description. This is not what I paid for, and I’ll be returning it. Do not trust the dimensions listed online—they are way off!
