This is the perfect brush for the price. It is quite soft and covers a good area. I took the advice from another comment and twist up a little on the brush when I want the bristles to have a little more stiffness. The retractable tube and cover make it very handy for traveling. It is skinnier than my last retractable brush which is better for fitting into a makeup case.

If you're like me and tend to overdo your blush by a smidgen, this brush is perfect for you. I used this brush in a manner different from what I've been used to: instead of swirling the brush in the compact and then buffing the product onto my cheeks using circular motions, I patted the brush onto the product and stamped it repeatedly on the outer portion of my cheekbones to produce the wash of color you see here. It took me less than a minute, which I can't say about any other brush that I've used. The brush itself is aesthetically pleasing, a nice violet color that goes well with the other products on my vanity. The bristles are soft and somewhat long, hence they tend to collapse easily when pressed down upon. The shape of this brush would lend itself well to other uses, particularly the application of bronzer and contouring products. I am 100% satisfied with my purchase and would recommend this brush to anyone looking for a practical way to apply blush on the go.

the brush does not pick up very much product and doesn't go on so easily, have to do it a handful of times to get decent color. I wear a MAC blush, it's not like it's a crappy blush but the brush just doesn't do the job. I have a kabuki brush that I got on here for 5 bucks as an add on item and that thing does wonders!! I was hoping this would do the same so I could have a powder brush and blush brush for travel uses. Sad, I really wanted to like this.

Cannot retract this brush so cannot use the cap. Useless. I just realized after it was too late to return, so it's just money wasted. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS NON-RETRACTABLE BRUSH IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A RETRACTABLE BRUSH. Update 11/25/18: Advised seller, who refunded my money. Thanks, Enzo Ken.

Wide coverage, soft brush and convenient to put away!

I love this retractable brush. I was looking for one to carry in my purse and they're hard to find these days. this one is a little bigger than the one that I lost, but it is still small enough to carry and is also lightweight.
