I got this for my son's bedroom, and it’s been a great addition! Installation was easy, and once it was up, the light looked really sleek. The brightness and colors are fully adjustable through the Govee app, which is super handy, and it works with Alexa and Google Assistant for voice control. My son loves changing the colors and setting different moods in his room, especially with the RGBIC effects. It’s plenty bright, but you can also dim it down when needed. The only small downside is that there’s a slight delay when turning it on from the main power, but you can get round this by just using rhe app or voice assistant to turn it off and on, other than that, it’s been fantastic. Overall, really happy with it! If you want a fun, smart ceiling light, this is a great choice.

Perfect light for our playroom and the kids love it! Works well with Alexa as well as the Govee app so the kids can ask for certain scenes or lighting levels. And provides a really good level of light too. Lots of different options and features within the app. Nice little features where it responds to noise/music which the kids love too Easy to install and connect to the app, to other lights we have from Govee, and works well with Alexa integrations. No remote control included so you’ll need a smart phone or tablet to change the light settings with the Govee app.

I bought this a while ago and have patiently waited for my brother in-law to wire it for me. It’s excellent. Super bright white light for when I’m working to make it feel like day light. Lovely patterns available for downtime with the tv/ gaming. Really good value. It was light while putting it up making it easy to do. Controlling it from Alexa or my phone is so simple. I’ve only been using it a few hours but super happy with it.

I bought two of these for my hallway, to run with a motion sensor and Alexa. Just for a laugh. The unit itself is well packaged and of a reasonable quality. Once it's on the ceiling, it look just fine. The initial installation of the backplate was easy enough, utilising the original ceiling rose screw fixings. The electrical side is OK with handy terminals that do not require any screwdrivers. However, the gap between the fixing g plate and the light is very tight, which made trying to locate one to the other quite challenging. There is no tether either, so you have to constantly hold it up, which is fine if it "just fits" but less so if you struggle. I ended up making a larger hole in my ceiling and pushing all the cables and connectors up into the ceiling space. The set up with Alexa was pretty simple although I couldn't get the Matter to connect, so I control them via the Govee App. Overall I like them. They can be fantastically bright but have limitless possibilities via the Govee App.

absolutely amazing bit of kit really easy to fit. setup was swift and easy after installing the app and the light being turned on my phone immediately found the light, no fussing about with the app or having to hunt around it was just there on the home screen ready to connect. unlike cheaper rgb bulbs I've used in the past this light connected instantly to my WIFI network, from there i was able to connect in to my alexa app which took no more then a mintue alexa does the basic functions like on/off brightness levels and colour change , i use the govee app for all the scenes and feature this light has built in. as far as a ceiling light go when in white mode this is one of the brightest lights im had in my room todate, all in all i would recommend this light to friends and family and ill be looking at some other govee products to go with

Simple to install just 2 wires to connect and set up with the Govee app. Can be very bright with configurable white light temperature and intensity plus very configurable separate colour options. Worth noting the colours are not as bright as the white light and are more of a secondary option for atmosphere. Would buy again.

Bought this light for a TV room I'm setting up. Easy to fit, comes supplied with connectors for the wires, so that's useful and makes things less fiddly. Once up and switched on the Govee Home app found it and setup was easy. As with many other smart lights you can set it to whatever colour you want, control brightness, and so on. There are some nice presets that are fun to play with and are animated, but the reality is that we typically set it to a 'static' setting and leave it at that. A nice feature is that some of the settings illuminate the main light, whereas others illuminate lights that shine up onto the ceiling - gives a nice effect. I would say that this is a pretty bright light. At 100% brightness it's too bright for the room its in so I've never really set it to more than 40%, so it would probably be good for a larger room as well. All in all, simple, good fun.

This is a great ceiling light. It’s great quality and it set up perfectly in UK flat. There’s zero flickers the size is perfect on the ceiling too. Connectivity is Bluetooth and wifi which is great for quality of life use. It’s controlled through your phone and even connects to Alexa. Has great scene options in the app too.

Govee RGBIC Smart Deckenlampe (30 cm, 24W) Allgemeiner Eindruck & Erfahrung Wir nutzen bereits mehrere Govee Produkte – von Raumthermometern über LED-Strips bis hin zu zwei dieser Deckenlampen. Die Lampe fügt sich nahtlos ins bestehende System ein. Montage & Anschluss Die Montage ist grundsätzlich gut machbar, alles Nötige liegt bei: Schrauben, Dübel, Verbindungsklemmen sowie Abdeckkappen für ggf. nicht benötigte Kabel aus der Decke. Die Lampe selbst wird nur mit zwei Kabeln (Phase & Neutralleiter) angeschlossen, was den Anschluss vereinfacht. Ein Kritikpunkt: Die Ausrichtung der Lampe ist etwas fummelig. Der Deckenhalter lässt die Lampe nur in bestimmten Positionen einrasten. Eine 360°-drehbare Lösung wäre deutlich komfortabler gewesen – so braucht es etwas Geduld, bis alles wirklich gerade sitzt. Einsatzorte & Steuerung Wir haben eine Lampe im Bad und eine im Flur installiert. • Steuerung erfolgt komplett über Alexa • Im Flur zusätzlich gekoppelt mit einem Philips Hue Bewegungsmelder (über Alexa) Die Einbindung in App und Sprachsteuerung lief sofort und problemlos, die Lampen wurden direkt erkannt. Licht & Helligkeit Im normalen Weiß-Modus ist die Lampe sehr hell – sowohl im ca. 4 m² großen Bad als auch im Flur mehr als ausreichend. Neben neutralem Alltagslicht stehen viele Farben, Szenen und Modi zur Verfügung, die sich flexibel über die App konfigurieren lassen. Das Licht ist gleichmäßig und flackert nicht. Status-Speicherung Anfangs hatten wir ebenfalls das Problem, dass sich die Lampe nach dem Ausschalten über den Lichtschalter nicht immer den letzten Zustand (Helligkeit/Farbe) gemerkt hat. Dieses Verhalten hat sich später von selbst erledigt – ob durch ein Software-Update oder eine Konfigurationsänderung, können wir nicht sicher sagen. Aktuell funktioniert es zuverlässig. Alltag & Fazit Die Lampe ist keine Spielerei, sondern eine vollwertige Deckenleuchte mit sehr guter Helligkeit und zusätzlich vielen smarten Möglichkeiten. Gerade in Kombination mit Alexa und Bewegungsmeldern ist sie im Alltag extrem praktisch. Fazit Sehr helle, vielseitige Smart-Deckenlampe mit zuverlässiger App- und Sprachsteuerung. Kleine Schwächen bei der Montage, ansonsten funktional, modern und absolut alltagstauglich.
