Awesome kit with some minor cons to be aware of
I'm giving it a five star, although it's more a 4.5. Really great setup. But, as said in some other reviews, there are some cons that don't keep it from a recommendation, but shouldn't be there for a almost $600 kit. If you are an avid Euro or American Truck Sim fan, it is completely worth the money and will so enhance your enjoyment of the game. But, below are my cons: 1. Pedals feel cheaper than the overall price. Not bad, but not very precise and feels less quality than the wheel or shifter. And the absence of any carpet friction is disappointing. 2. The cables on the wheel and pedals are hard-wired instead of removable. This means, of course, cable goes wrong and the whole device is bricked for most people. The shifter has a removable USB cable and it's mind-boggling why they didn't do the same with the entire kit. 3. While the clap mechanism works great, the little knob is kind of pathetic. It gives no real leverage and is hard to tighten very much or loosen once you have. 4. This is pretty niche (but growing), there are no official Linux drivers for this kit and the community ones, while awesome that people are trying, are buggy and incomplete. Unless you really want to tinker, Windows is pretty much a must for this. But, as I said, get it if you are really into these sims. It adds soooo much the the experience.

Best in price range
I use this for ATS and ETS2. I cannot speak to its performance in other applications. In these applications this wheel shines. Physical Setup was very easy. Form factor is large, as expected; this is a truck wheel after all. Love the size of this thing. This will take up a good portion of your desk. Base extends pretty low so if you have a keyboard tray, you will not be able to use the keyboard and may need to remove the tray. This was not the case with my G29 previously (much smaller Lee wheel). Shifter and wheel have no issues slipping off of the desk. If you have a carpet, get some carpet grips for the pedals that you’d stick under furniture. Alleviates slipping issues. The pedals will slip without these. Software setup was also simple with ATS/ETS. Got lucky with no noticeable deadzone. Absolutely great for immersion, huge upgrade from G29. The turn signals are a huge improvement over using G29 paddle shifters; I was actually starting to accidentally attempt to use the paddle shifters as turn signals in my real car, so this upgrade should alleviate that personal issue for me. The wheel itself drives wonderfully. Great button layout, I never touch my keyboard in game anymore. Shifter is an upgrade over g29. You can set the resistance with a knob, which I love. Has range, splitter, and Jake brake button. I’ve seen some negative comments about the pedals but they seem like a big upgrade over the g29. I can definitely control the pedals with these a lot better, where as with the g29 I was either applying maximum force or not enough force.

Best setup for ATS
This is hands down the best setup for playing ATS or ETS. My original setup was the Logitech G25 which now is roughly 2 decades old. After unboxing the setup the first thing I noticed is that the wheel is much larger than I expected. I don't drive a truck in real life so those that do I'd assume the wheel is about the same size as the real thing. The wheel is designed to look and function like a real wheel with turn signal lever, buttons to control the radio, cruise control, horns, wipers, etc. Plus many more buttons to change player view, access menus, look around, control the automatic transmission. It does not tilt at all though so it's a definite change from your typical racing wheel. It also supports up to 1800 degrees of rotation and realistic force feedback. It's strong enough that you'll feel the feedback from bumps or collisions in game but not so strong that it'll shake the wheel out of your hand like Logitech wheels are capable of doing. One negative (sort of) of the wheel is there are joysticks on each end to control view, so when you're turning the wheel you will hit those joysticks constantly with your palm, but the devs thought of that and added a very nice feature to the control software that you can adjust which will make it ignore analog input while turning the wheel. You can turn that feature off or make it very restrictive, it's up to how you want it. My recommendation would be to buy a generic wheel knob (I found one for $10) and install so it lifts your hand up away from the controls and gives you better control also, especially if you like to play with 1800 degrees of rotation, you're going to turn the wheel a lot and sometimes very fast. The pedals are much smaller than expected and much lighter also but they still feel very durable. There's no flex when trying to twist or bend the pedals. There's rubber grips on the bottom that holds onto hardwood floors extremely well, I've tried pushing against the pedals really hard to make it move and it doesn't budge. It doesn't have any spikes to grabs into carpet, I don't have carpet so I don't know how well it'll stay in place in those situations. The pedals are very smooth when pressing them and the brake pedal is a bit different. You'll feel something like a bump when you press it about half way, and really have to stand on the pedal to press the brake to 100% The shifter is smaller than I expected from the pictures but it is still great. It has a resistance dial on the side to change how much resistance you want when shifting gears. The other side has a mechanical switch to change between H shifting and sequential shifting. There's a button for almost every single feature in game. Both the wheel and shifter have just one large screw that secures it to your desk. The pedals plug into the back of the wheel, the power also plugs into the back of the wheel. The wheel and shifter have separate USBs so you'll need 2 USB type A slots to connect both to your pc. Overall I'm highly impressed with this setup. It takes a bit to memorize where all the buttons are and their functions so you don't have to keep looking at the wheel or shifter for the button you need to press but it's worth it. I definitely recommend this setup over any other brand for those that love ATS or ETS. Just buy yourself a generic wheel knob also.

If you like ATS and want to get away from the keyboard. this is it
First off, this is a 5-star wheel. It is missing just a few things for me to give it that 5-star rating. One big thing for me is the cheap usb cord. my setup has to be set up and taken apart each time, and I fear this cord will not last. 2 the pedals have to plug into the wheel to work via a cat5 connection. The pedals are ok but not high end; the work well and actually don't slide all that much. when I first got it the software download was pretty straight forward but again its app lacks certain customizations. at first, it would not work in ATS at all, then I set the sensitivity in the game to 150, and then poof it worked. I love this wheel a lot and it would be sick for a permanent setup. my fear is that setting it up and removing it often will ruin the cheap cords fast. All in all, yes buy this wheel if you like ATS or Euro Turck 2, this will enhance game play in ways you can't understand until you try it

Finally! A Complete Peripheral Setup
*Edited at bottom for one week use critiques* My old set up was a G29 with the 3D printed stalk addon bought from Amazon, a 18 speed shifter mod and a farm sim button box. Everything was a little jerry-rigged together, but it worked and really boosted the immersion factor. It's a must have for true sim enjoyment. I saw this product announced from the amazing team SCS on a live feed one day and I jumped on the pre-order. ETA for delivery was in December per the announcement and Amazon estimate. Once this big box arrived (2 1/2 months early) I had to get it set up. The process was super easy, the base mounted to my sim stand after removing 4 screws that held together the desk clamp mechanism. The driver and software set up was easy via the Hori website and integration into both ATS and ETS2 was straightforward. This is what I've been wanting for a LONG WHILE now. Something made to mesh perfectly together and loaded with all the buttons you can use to control every aspect. Now, I was a bit skeptical because from what I've read you cannot change the button layouts, SCS developers worked closely with Hori engineers to develop this perfect set up, and I'm not even mad I can't change much, as it's perfect as is. After an hour or so, It all becomes muscle memory. There are a few AUX buttons you can remap as you see fit, but I haven't needed them as all so far. **EDIT ~ You CAN remap any button you want. In fact, each one does have numbers to make it that much easier to do.** The FFB is perfect and the ability to actually use 1800° rotation is phenomenal, really allows turning in tight spots making the game a bit more enjoyable. The shifter has a tension knob to adjust the stifness of the shift gates and a slider for sequential or H. The pre-order discount took a bit of the sting away, but honestly, after using this for about 9 hrs so far, I'd gladly pay full price just for the enjoyability it adds. **To add, after using for a week now. 1) The pedals. There not really to my expectations. Theres no carpet solution. I have a stand, but many others may not, and this will hinder you without modifications. Which frankly, at this price point, you shouldn't have to. Also, each has the same feel and resistance. Breaking feels.. fake. 2) The FFB. It is a bit on the weak side. But for trucking, it's alright. I got my settings cranked up a bit over my old G29 and it works. 3) The shifter. When using the H shifter, I feel like I'm driving a short throw. It don't have that trucking shift feel. You get used to it, but there's not really any way you can modify it by adding an extension. I still would recommend this. And I'm really enjoying it so far versus my old Frankenstein set up. I feel the value here is pretty good for what you get. Especially how much more you can end up spending buying everything high-end and piecing it together. Not to mention the time you would have to spend as well. For a one and done solution, I think this peripheral setup is pretty adequate. 4 1/4 stars (as mentioned in the review above) I will however keep my eyes peeled for V2 if there ever comes a day.

10/10 for ATS
Works great for ATS, it automatically binded all the buttons for a quick and easy start. Tons of hours on it!

Big dreams, bigger nightmare.
Had high hopes. Was very disappointed and ended up returning. Force feedback was weak, build quality felt poor. Prior wheel was a Logitech unit from the ps3 era and it had stronger force feed back and is built better. Having all the buttons pre mapped was a plus but the shifter had zero pre mapped profiles and as a trucker in real life it just felt wrong. Wouldn’t recommend and returned.

Great Value and Good Quality!
The Hori Truck controller is a great value. I have enjoyed usi g it and it has improved the immersion and game play. If you ate looking for a truck steering wheel set up, this package will not disappoint. Before using it, download the drivers and device manager and install the software. Make sure you plug in the power pack. The only concern I had was the pedals base easily slides on carpet. I fixed that issue by purchasing rubber adhesive pads (used to stop furniture from sliding). Stick the 4 pads on the bottom of the pedal base. The pads cause enough friction to stop the excessive sliding making the pedals usable. The pads cost about $10 for a package of 4 pads. 3M brand.
