Good one !
The UNGLINGA 260+ Experiments Science Kit is a highly rated STEM toy designed to spark curiosity and hands-on learning in kids aged 8 and up. It’s especially popular as a birthday or holiday gift thanks to its wide variety of experiments and engaging presentation. It covers chemistry, geology, physics, and “science magic” activities like erupting volcanoes, soap making, and fruit circuits and includes lab tools like beakers, test tubes, safety goggles, droppers, and a hand-operated generator. It encourages critical thinking, creativity, and scientific exploration aligned with STEM learning goals. I gave it a gift to my 8 year old in his birthday gift.

Cool Experiments—Requires some patience
This is an awesome kit! I didn’t realize it would come with so many materials and two instruction booklets. Honestly, this is almost worth it for the booklet of instructions alone. The booklet is broken up into 4 sections of experiments-science experiments, physics experiments, magic experiments, and bonus experiments. You definitely won’t be able to do all the experiments in one day. I would recommend this kit for 5 and up with hands on parent help. Maybe 8 and up for them to have less help but most of the instructions will need an adult to decipher and make sure it’s being done properly. I gave this product 4 1/2 stars because I wish the materials were grouped more with each individual experiment—some were bundled all together with many things so you had to open multiple packages for some experiments—but overall I like that so many items can be reused. We made the bouncing balls and soap first. The balls gave enough material to make 3-1” bouncing balls. It came with the mold and material you just needed to add water. The only downside was that after mixing the materials each ball took 5 minutes in the water before you could make the next one and then they all had to dry for 30 minutes. I was doing these experiments with smaller kids (3 and 5) so they weren’t the most patient while waiting their turn to mix and weren’t thrilled about the 30 minutes until it would bounce. But now these balls are bouncing all over our house and they love that they got to pick their colors. The soap kit has enough to make 3-4 bars of soap with the molds given. But the soap hardens quickly! So make sure you mix your colors and scents in quickly and pour. We used essential oils to give ours a smell and it is really soapy! I wouldn’t recommend using the beakers to mix the colors because that was hard to cleanup as it stuck and you use the beakers for multiple projects. The second bar of soap I just mixed the colors and smells in the glass bowl I used to melt the wax and that was much easier. I’d use 3-3 1/2 sticks per bar of soap. I used 4 sticks for the first one since the directions said that but it hardened fast and I couldn’t get it all out of the beakers. So if you use 3-3 1/2 you can probably make 4 bars of soap in different batches after it hardens. The kids really liked making this and choosing colors/scents. This kit is going to keep up busy all summer.

Well worth the money, time together and smiles
Had an item or two missing but not enough to return the item. My kiddo had lots of fun with the experiments and spent time with me and other kids while making these. Dad said it was worth the money.

Decent Value for Variety, but Many Experiments Feel Boring ⭐⭐⭐
Kit Contents & Range: The UNGLINGA 260+ Experiments Science Kit is impressively comprehensive and includes a wide assortment of materials—from chemistry sets and gemstone digs to building a volcano. It’s great to have everything in one box for a broad range of science exploration. Experiment Quality & Engagement: While it’s wonderful in theory, many of the experiments feel tedious and underwhelming. There’s a noticeable lack of exciting, attention-grabbing activities—some of the steps seem more chore than fun. My kids lost interest partway through several experiments because things just felt repetitive or dull. Educational Value: This kit offers plenty of variety, which is good for discovering what sparks a child’s curiosity. It’s okay for the price, offering big bang for your buck if you just want exposure to various STEM topics. But if you’re looking for standout, wow-factor experiments—this isn’t quite it. Packaging & Instructions: Most everything you need is included, so no extra shopping required. Instructions were generally clear enough, though some sections could benefit from more visual guidance or step-by-step help to keep kids engaged. Overall: A solid, budget-friendly kit that’s packed with options. But the sheer quantity doesn’t always translate into quality of engagement. Perfect if you want lots of different experiments in one place, albeit with mixed excitement levels. 3 out of 5 stars.
