Let's start by me saying I HATE ratchet straps with a passion. I've had to use them regularly for the past ten years, and lately it's near daily. Either music and camera gear going from location to location or my company's fleet vehicles it was a daily chore to untangle and reset straps to use them. If I didn't set the strap the first time forget about it, everyone knows what I'm talking about here, I'd get tangled / stuck / incorrectly looped straps back and spend more time readying them for use than it would take to secure the cargo. Well that's changed with these. I originally ordered four of the 1,500 1x10 straps to test and when I received the package I thought I had been sent the wrong ones because the strap had said 500 pounds. I contacted the seller and the error was on my part. I'm used to companies putting the break strength on the strap, almost all of them do that. These guys put the working load on the strap, 1/3rd of the break strength. The seller responded lightning fast and very throughly, I know if I were contacting about any other issue that they would be on top of that as well which is important to me. These are amazing to use. The clip on the hook is a great feature I never knew I missing, regardless of retractable or not I highly recommend that for all future straps. While in use these straps allow me to achieve the same level of tightness I've grown comfortable with, where the retractable straps I've tried from the big box brands wouldn't let me ratchet it much tighter than a bungee would. Now the real reason for buying these and my hatred of regular straps was all about the set up / break down and thats where these really shine. I clip one end to the tie point and just pull it over the load to the other tie point and clip. I ratchet it to the desired level and that's it (I'm certain these would let you over tighten if you wanted or needed to, so thats a feature in my book and not a flaw). Releasing the strap is just as simple as a normal strap except no wiggling it to get enough loose to undo the straps, it instantly releases all tension and becomes so easy to work with. Unclip a hook and the strap feeds itself back and resets all ready to go again. No more mess of straps in the backseat tangled up, no more loose excess coming loose and flapping all over requiring you to pull over and retie to look professional. These things do it all for you. I'm going to purchase these and the seller's 3300 strength for my whole fleet and as gifts for anyone that uses ratchet straps because it takes the brain out of it, and for someone with back pain like myself it's been a little bonus to not have to pull the strap tight before ratcheting. Could not recommend these type straps enough, and I highly recommend this seller because of the customer experience I've received. It's only been a few uses so far but since I'll be using these almost daily I'll update if there's any problems.

Great ratchet straps, the self retracting feature makes storing these so much easier than traditional ratchet straps. Comes with its own carrying case which is also great. Highly recommend these.

While the retracting mechanism isn't as strong as the rhino brand, these use a stainless steel spring. The rhino ones always fails because their internal spring breaks off. There are slightly less bulky and in my opinion way easier to use since you don't have to guess what position the break lever I on. EDIT: just wanted to update the review. I’ve used these 4 Times now. Absolutely happy with them. So much better than the rhino product. Night and day.

Easy to use product, doesn't tangle. The only downside I see is that the buckle seems large for the amount of webbing it holds.

My sons straps are ususlly in a big ball in his truck so I bought him these and he loves them and so do I when I borrow his truck and have to use them. No more tangeled straps.

Bought it as a gift for my husband, he was a little skeptical at first, but absolutely loves these tiedown straps.
