This product arrived extremely fast and was exactly what was needed to fix my kitchen aid mixer. It was more than what we needed, but now have some for the next time.

It is what it should be. I bought this for the rebuild of a Kitchenaid mixer gear box. I was expecting a full can but there was a lot of airspace, so I weighed it on the kitchen scale. The package doesn't list a weight but the sellers site says 14 oz. My scale showed just under a pound including the can. Works for me. Pic for proof. Clean, smooth, food processing grade grease for a reasonable price especially since there aren't many other options.

Super Lube is the best all-purpose grease I've found, and we're talking a lot of years. It's too expensive to lube your auto suspension or wheel bearings. But it's great for everything around the house and shop. I lube my pocket knives with Super Lube, and it lasts about three years before it all rubs off. But the grease itself doesn't fail. I have some dual-banana speaker connectors that were rattley. So I put some Super Lube on the threads of the binding post, and they're nicely damped now. I put just the thinnest bit on PC chassis covers, where they make contact. Much less struggle! It's safe in the kitchen. It works for drawer guides, hinges (have to take apart the hinge), way better than WD40. Light bulbs sometimes get stuck, but not with a thin coat of Super Lube on the base. And I mean a really thin coat! I also have three 3oz. tubes of Super Lube that I refill using a big syringe. You have to compress the tube first, so there is little air inside. Saves money over buying more 3oz. tubes. Almost all of it wipes off your hands with a rag, so you don't need to wash them right away after using it. I can even use a touchscreen after I just wipe off the Super Lube. It's clear, so invisible.

I bought this Super Lube grease specifically for my 3D printer's Z-axis rods and lead screws, and it's been working perfectly. The synthetic formula stays put and doesn't dry out like some cheaper greases I've tried. After applying it to my printer's lead screws, the Z-axis movement became noticeably smoother and quieter. I'm not getting any of the sticking or binding issues I had before. The 3 oz tubes are a good size - enough for multiple applications but not so much that it'll go bad before I use it up. The consistency is just right - thick enough to stay in place but not so heavy that it causes drag. I've been using it for a few months now with no issues. FILLED BY WEIGHT, NOT VOLUME. So you might have voids, or empty space on top. That doesn't mean they shorted you. I used this for re-greasing a cross cut paper shredder. It had been running slow and jamming often. I tore it apart, and the grease inside was mostly gone and black. So I decided to clean all of it and then reapply. Q-tips worked well to help get each tooth and spread the grease. Reassembled and it ran like brand new. There is plenty left to redo my Kitchen Aide mixer. I'm sure that I will find other small projects to use this for. I am docking a star for the price, as it is high. Granted it will last you a long time, but I feel I overpaid.

My main use for this grease is for swimming pool seals. I used to buy those tiny tubes of grease that were very expensive and hard to dispense out of the tube. This can is much more cost effective and easy to glob it onto my nitrile gloves and completely coat the seals effectively. Other uses I have found is for the microwave door latch. Using a Q-tip and apply it on the runners that the latch slides into where the door closes. That way you won't have plastic on plastic wearing down the latch thus causing the micro switches to start failing. This can goes a long way, I purchased mine in 2020 and I still have about half left. If you plan on having your can for any length of time, I recommend storing it in a plastic bag. I store mine indoors, and even doing so, the bottom of the can is starting to rust leaving round rust circles on my shelf. I hope this review was helpful for you.

I use this grease for the sprocket and chain of my stand mixer and find that it does a fine job and stays in place well. I only have a dual speed mixer and neither are very fast so I’m not sure if its performance would remain the same at higher speeds. I’ve also used this same grease on refrigerator door seals, the crank mechanism of a citrus juicer and other internal mechanisms of tools in the kitchen. Seems to work well on plastic fittings and helping caps and lids slide on nicely as well. In general this is an excellent food safe grease to use any where a thick synthetic grease could be applied and from a brand most of us know and love!
