Does it stain clothes?

Mitchum is a clear gel. It does not stain my clothes. I have learned that certain deodorants stained my husband’s shirts. He cannot use an anti-perspirant. He can only use plain deodorant as it doesn’t mix chemically with his sweat to make yellow spots under his arms.

Does this block odor effectively for at least 24 hrs?

Yes it does. It does the job well too! If you find that it doesn't quite do the job, use a little more when putting it on in the morning. I had to experiment a bit to find what worked for me, but I found that sweet spot and I am very well pleased with this product.
